It climbs up to Mount Pozzo (450 m.a.s.l), and reaches Collabassa (330 m.a.s.l). Then, following the Provincial Road # 72, it goes down to Airole, turns left to the former State Road (no longer in use) and after about 4 km it reaches the State Road # 20, near a tunnel. At this point follow this State Road, direction Ventimiglia, for about 40 m, paying attention to the car traffic, and then cross it, to resume the dirt path on the left. You will have to climb up to Case Squarciafichi, reach the pass North of Cima Tramontina (530 m.a.s.l), and then down again to the Provincial Road # 69, where the trail merges with the “1T” itinerary. At the first junction turn right, riding up again to Verrandi and after about 150 m (panoramic view) leave the asphalt road again and turn onto the dirt path on the left that runs along the Via dei Monti Liguri down The itinerary The trail takes you immediately to higher elevations, and offers panoramic views over the Roya river valley and the beautiful meandering gorges of the Bevera stream, enveloping bikers with the typical fragrances and sounds of the Mediterranean maquis. A steep downhill trail will lead you to the narrow Roya River plain, set between tall, layered limestone walls. Following another climb on the opposite side of the valley, you may enjoy a scenic view also of Valle Nervia. How to get there Get off the Autofiori motorway (A10) at the exit for Ventimiglia (where the itinerary begins). Not to be missed Nature: Le Rupi di Roverino, i Calanchi di Brunetti, le Forre del Fiume Roya e i Meandri del Torrente Bevera. Villages and art: La Cappella della Madonna della Neve a Ciaixe, le numerose fortificazioni militari lungo i due crinali, il Museo archeologico presso il Forte dell’Annunziata e Antiquarium di Ventimiglia. I nuclei di Case Magauda, Airole e il centro storico di Ventimiglia con i suoi numerosi monumenti.
