Each rear tube shall withstand a 500-pound load near the center of the tube for 1
minute, with less than 1/4-inch permanent deformation of the tube. Each rear
brace shall withstand a 500-pound load for 1 minute with no component breakage
or loss of serviceability. Visible permanent deformation is allowed. The wheel axle
shall withstand a 500-pound load without loss of serviceability.
