They are designed in laboratories by highly qualified engineers and designers; however, they also result from off-road
experiences and valuable contributions of MTB champions, which are exploited to improve their aerodynamic properties in all details and deliver stability, efficiency, safety and “number 1” performance.

is the lifeblood of any self-respecting biker. Fighting off-road, on the road and on single tracks, they are tested in the
most challenging MTB races all over the world.

That is why, for the first time, the last year Torpado introduced the Nearco 27.5”: a true wide-ranging innovation that
has soon become very well-know and appreciated in the world of MTB, also thanks to an extraordinary success on the
ground.
Always looking ahead to the future with courage: Torpado reaffirms its ideas with the new 2014 Collection as a recognised leading company in the field of innovation that set a new intermediate standard fully meeting the expectations
of both MTB professionals and amateurs.
The novelties introduced by Torpado in 2014 still follow the assumption that “virtue is in the middle”, thus combining
in the best way stability and strength resulting from larger wheels (29”) with easy of handling resulting from smaller
wheels (26”); all of this supported by an especially designed frame: the Hardtail Nearco S 27.5”, which is the 2014
evolution of the Nearco 27.5”; and the Enduro Full-suspended Noriker 27.5”, designed by Giulio Mancini and directly
tested by the Gravity Team on the most prestigious enduro tracks, which replaces the Moab Carbon in the Torpado
range and stands out on a competitive and “greedy” market as the great novelty of the year by Torpado.
The range is completed by the Ribot 29”, whose stability and safety are well-proven, the Nearco 27.5” and the Levizir
29”.
A new course of action that ranks Torpado among the major international mountain bike manufacturers in terms of
range, technology and innovation.

Ribot 29”
Top model from Torpado in the front 29” category. Designed to meet the needs of those who want to have a more stable
and safe mountain bike to ride off-road. The larger wheel makes the crossing of obstacles easier by ensuring more
stability and safety because the contact surface with the ground is increased and the impact angle is reduced.
The frame made of UD carbon fibre is the most performing and the lightest in the 29” range. The head-tube is tapered
and cables are integrated.
The rear of 440 mm, combined with a steering angle of 70°, makes the wheelbase of this MTB compact. Therefore,
the bike is very handy and reactive.
According to the latest standards, the rear brake is post-mounted on the horizontal seat-stay (stiffer and lighter).

Levizir Carbon 29”
Like Ribot, Levizir Carbon belongs to the Torpado Impudent 29” range. Lightweight and reactive frame designed to
deliver optimum safety on any ground. The innovation is the pivot through the front and rear parts. The pivot through
the front part ensures stiffness, driving precision and optimum safety. The pivot through the rear part makes pedalling
more powerful.
Last, but not least, the post mount brake integrated into the horizontal seat-stay improves braking performance and
reduces weight. An excellent “oversize” mountain bike for all those who do not want to give up quality at a highly competitive price.

Nearco Carbon 27,5”
The Nearco 27.5” project developed by Torpado in 2013 was especially aimed at delivering a very technical product
building on the advantages of the 29” model (stability and safety when crossing obstacles), while preserving the acceleration, agility and lightness of the 26” version. Geometries were conceived in order to preserve some features of the
26” model such as the central bottom bracket, which remains at the same height. The steering angle of 70° and the
seatpost angle of 73°, combined with the length of horizontal seat-stays 425 mm, make this front frame an excellent
compromise on any ground. Thanks to these new features, Nearco is a “true” racing machine.

Nearco S Carbon 27,5”
Building on the standards and geometries of the Nearco, Torpado developed an even more “performing” and dynamic
version: a super-excellent racing MTB.
Nearco S is a further development of the Nearco that makes it a truly top-of-the-line product thanks to its contents and
features.
The Nearco S frame was made even lighter by carefully designing the slanting tube dimensions. In this way, a stiffer
central bottom bracket shell and improved driving precision were obtained.
Slanting seat-stays were optimised and the bow was removed. Cables are fully integrated into the head-tube with a
single entry point.
The goal, perfectly achieved, was to obtain an even “cleaner” design with increased functionality and improved performance.

Noriker 27,5”
Torpado designed this full-suspended enduro bike with the aim of easily pedalling uphill and driving/sprinting downhill.
The 27.5” intermediate version perfectly meets the needs of enduro by combining the agility of the 26” version with the
stability of the 29” model in one single innovative solution.
The quadrilateral system with a maximum extension of 160 at the front and 155 at the rear, respectively, was especially
designed to exploit the advantage of 27.5” wheels.
The shock absorber compression curve was expressly developed by the Torpado engineers and tested by the Team
during the most challenging world enduro competitions.
Geometries such as a steering angle of 66.5°, a seatpost angle of 73° and a length of seat-stays of 440 mm enable
this full-suspended bike to be reactive, agile and lightweight.
