A SCIENTIFIC MEETING ON METROPOLISES
In 2011 the Ville de Paris instituted a long-term cycle of seminars. Organised with
the Laboratoire Techniques, Territoires et Sociétés (LATTS, Université Paris-Est), the
Centre d’études Européennes (CEE-Sciences Po), with the support of Paris Métropole
and the Atelier Parisien d’Urbanisme (APUR), these meetings bring leading researchers
together and aim to nurture ongoing Parisian thinking on the subject.

• Christian Lefèvre, Director of the Institut Français d’Urbanisme,
