mass over the Christmas period and would like to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion and Reconciliation, please call the church office to arrange an appointment with one of the priests.

BLESSING OF BABY JESUS FIGURINES
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
At the end of each Mass there will be a blessing
of all Baby Jesus figurines which you will place
in your Nativity Scenes on Christmas Day.

mercy!
ADVENT
(Isaiah 49:14‐50:1) Christmas is coming, and so Isaiah's prophecies are turning toward the restora on of Israel. Christ, through the plan of salva on, will reunite all mankind to God. In this reading, we see that our sins have separated us from Him, but the Lord does not forget those whom He has both created and chosen. (Isaiah 51:1‐11) The Prophet Isaiah assures us that what the Lord has promised, He will deliver. He chose Abraham for his jus ce, and from him, He raised a great na on. From that na on, a Child is born, Who will bring salva on to all mankind. May Jesus, who in a few days will come, making our Na vi‐
ty scenes radiant with joy, find a generous welcome in every Christmas family, as was the case in Bethlehem on that holy night. CHRISTMAS FLOWERS

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Our parish is still short $2,963 of the required
$30,658 we had hoped to collect for Together
in Action.
This year, all parishes in the Diocese were
asked to help raise $2 Million during this
yearly Campaign. Of that $2 Million, almost ½ of the monies
raised will go towards Diocesan Programs such as the Life &
Family Resource Centre, Youth Ministry, Mission Council,
Social Justice, Elizabeth House and the formation of our clergy.
PERFORMING THE MISSION AND WORK OF CHRIST IN OUR
DIOCESE IS A GREAT UNDERTAKING SO THIS IS WHY EACH
PARISH IS REQUIRED,
WHETHER COLLECTED OR NOT, TO CONTRIBUTE A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR OVERALL REVENUE.
There are no more dates set aside for special collection so please
consider contributing to our parish campaign goal through the
parish office or through one of our priests before the end of the
year.

Please make sure you pick up the same box number of envelopes you were using last year. The envelopes are in numerical order at the hall lobby. Sunday Envelopes are a commitment to support the needs of our Lady of Grace
Parish. We encourage every wage earner to use
envelopes on a weekly basis and to be generous in
your offering.
