geschützt von den hohen Pfunderer Bergen bietet Vals sowohl im Sommer als

Un paesello montano circondato dai verdi prati e protetto al nord dalle
montagne rocciose delle Montagne di Fundres. Il paese è particolarmente

alle ore 19. Al di fuori del comune di residenza si possono raccogliere solo fino a 1 kg
per giorno e per persona (oltre i 14 anni).

SEHENSWÜRDIGKEITEN
Pfarrkirche zur hl. Helena: Stammt aus dem 13. Jh. mit zahlreichen Fresken, die
aus dem 15. Jh. stammen. Moderner rundförmiger Kirchenzubau seit 1975. Zu sehen
sind Grabsteine der Adeligen, Zöllner und Pfleger an der Kirchenmauer.
Mühlbacher Klause: Die älteste Erwähnung dieser Tal- und Straßensperre findet
man 1269 in einer Urkunde des Grafen Friedrich von Rodank. Wie die Klausenanlage
ausgesehen haben mag, ist nicht bekannt. Zoll wurde bei der Klause seit 1288 nachweislich eingehoben. Als Talsperre stellte die Klause auch ein militärisches Bollwerk dar,
welches 1526 von Michael Gaißmair vergeblich belagert wurde. Heftige Kämpfe spielten
sich hier am 8. Nov. 1809 zwischen den Tiroler Landstürmern und dem französischen
General Rusca ab. 1997 wurde der „Verein Mühlbacher Klause“ gegründet, welcher
sich in Zusammenarbeit mit der Südtiroler Landesregierung, dem Assessorrat für Kultur,
dem Amt für Denkmalpflege, der Gemeinde Mühlbach, der Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse
und privaten Spendern, die Sanierung der Anlage und teilweise Nutzbarmachung zum
Ziel gesetzt hat. Die Mühlbacher Klause kann während der Sommermonate besichtigt

Florianikapelle mit Museum: Die doppelgeschossige gotische Florianikapelle
wurde im 15. Jh. erbaut. Bei Aufräumarbeiten wurden Fresken, Statuen, Schriftstücke,
Münzen und Knochen aus der Römerzeit entdeckt.
Kapelle zum „Stöcklvater“: Oberhalb der heutigen Staatsstraße auf dem Weg nach
Schabs. Es ist eine stattliche Wegkapelle zu Ehren „Unseres Herrn im Elend“, erbaut um
1729 und auch heute noch ein beliebter Wallfahrtsort. An den Außenwänden der Kapelle
sind ansprechende Barockfresken aus dem Jahre 1750 zu sehen.

RIO DI PUSTERIA
Maria-Hilf-Kapelle: Hochbarock, gelegen am östlichen Eingang der alten Landstraße in den Ortskern. Sie wird bereits im Jahre 1653 erwähnt. Der Kurat von Mühlbach las
hier jeden Mittwoch die hl. Messe. Im Laufe der Zeit verfiel dieses sogenannte „Atzwanger
Stöckl“ immer mehr in einen ruinösen Zustande. 1778 wurde sie vom damaligen Lindenwirt, Johann Atzwanger, auf eigene Kosten in der heutigen Gestalt wieder aufgebaut.
EDELSITZE Ansitz Kandlburg: Erbaut im Jahre 1284 mit einem Turm an der Ostseite, dann dem Kloster überantwortet, welches es verkaufte. Mehrere Besitzer folgten,
bis 1643 das Haus in den Besitz des Grafen Johann Andreas von Wolkenstein und
Rodengg kam. Hier wurde dem legendären Lauterfresser der Prozess gemacht. Bis
1840 blieb es dann im Besitz des Ignaz Theodor von Preu, k.k. Landrichter zur Brixen.
An diese Familie erinnert die Richtergasse in Mühlbach. Auf Preu folgte der Wundarzt
Kandelberger, dessen Namen das Haus schließlich erhielt.1952 wurde die Kandlburg
von Johanna und Michael Sapelza erworben und 1988 vom geschichtsbewussten Ehepaar Gerda Sapelza und Anton Schieder stilecht und mit Liebe zum Detail saniert und
renoviert. Geschichtsträchtige Burgenromantik erlebt der Gast in der Kandlburg. Dank
moderner Technik und dem nötigen Komfort ist die Kandlburg auch als Tagungs- und
Seminarort beliebt.
Ansitz Straßhof: Den Ansitz Straßhof verwalteten seit Ende des 12. Jh. die Herren
von Rodank. Im Jahre 1522 ging der Besitz auf die Grafen von Enzenberg über. Franz,
Freiherr von Enzenberg verkaufte im Jahr 1727 den Ansitz an Georg Unterkircher in

deren Besitz er für vier Generationen blieb. Zwischen 1811 und 1961 wechselte der
Ansitz mehrmals Besitzer, bis er 1968 wieder in den Besitz der Unterkircher kam und
seit damals als Restaurationsbetrieb umgewandelt wurde.

Ansitz Freyenthurn: Die wuchtige Anlage „Ansitz Freyenthurn“ prägt das Ortsbild.
Ein Baudenkmal ist die gewaltige Granitbrücke über den Valler Bach, die der Reichsstraße dienend, Kanzler Metternich 1840 erbauen ließ. Die mittelalterliche Turmanlage,
erbaut zwischen 1269 und 1277, bauten Georg von Enzenberg und seine Söhne zum
repräsentativen Adelssitz aus und umschlossen ihn zugleich mit einer Mauer. Der Ansitz
wurde über die Jahre hin weiter ausgebaut, wie der Westflügel und im oberen Stock der
Arkadengang. Als die Mühlbacher Linie ausstarb, verkauften die Erben den Ansitz an den
Brixner Domherr Hirn, welcher ihn den Tertiarschwestern zur Niederlassung ihres Ordens
und der Errichtung einer Mädchenschule überließ. Seit 1856 ist der Ansitz Klosterschule
der Tertiarschwestern.

Chiesa parrocchiale di Sant’Elena: Del 13° secolo, con numerosi affreschi del
15° sec. ed una moderna costruzione di forma rotonda, annessa alla chiesa originaria
nel 1975. Lungo le mura della chiesa si trovano le pietre tombali di nobili, doganieri
e curatori.
Chiusa di Rio di Pusteria: In passato segnava il confine tra il territorio del Tirolo
e di Gorizia, fu menzionata per la prima volta nel 1269 in un documento del conte
Friedrich di Rodank. Dal 1288 divenne stazione doganale. La posizione strategica fece
della chiusa anche una fortificazione militare presa invano d’assedio già nel 1526
da Michael von Gaißmair. Nel novembre 1809 fu teatro di violenti battaglie nella lotta contro l’esercito francese del Generale Rusca nella guerra di liberazione del Tirolo.

Cappella ”Floriani” con Museo: (accanto alla parrocchia di Rio di Pusteria) la
cappella in stile gotico a due piani fu costruita nel 15° sec. Durante i lavori di sgombero
furono trovati affreschi, statue, scritture, monete e centinaia di ossa dall’epoca romana.
Cappella del ”Stöcklvater”: Lungo la strada per Sciaves. Questa cappella si trova
lungo la vecchia strada, al di sopra della strada statale di oggi. Fu costruito intorno al
1729 e ancora oggi meta di pellegrinaggi. In onore del ”Nostro Signore in povertà”. Nei
muri esterni della cappella si vedono affreschi barocchi dell’anno 1750.

DE
Cappella Maria Hilf: In stile alto barocco. Situata all’entrata est del paese alla vecchia strada statale. La cappella fu menzionata nel 1653. Col passar del tempo la cosiddetta cappella ”Atzwanger Stöckl” andò in rovina. Così nel 1778 la cappella venne
ricostruita dall’albergatore ”Zur Linde” di allora a sue spese.
RESIDENZE NOBILIARI: Palazzo Kandlburg: Costruito nell’anno 1284 con una
torre al lato est, poi affidato al convento che lo vendette. Passò a vari proprietari finché
non divenne proprietà del Conte Johann Andreas von Wolkenstein und Rodenegg. Qui
si fece il processo al leggendario Lauterfresser. Fino al 1840 rimase proprietà di Ignaz
Theodor von Preu, giudice del tribunale a Bressanone. Il nome della via dei Giudici

rimanda a questa famiglia. A Preu seguì il medico Kandelberger, il quale dette il nome
alla casa. Nel 1952 la comprarono Johanna e Michael Sapelza e nel 1988 venne
restaurata e risanata con tanta attenzione ai dettagli dai conuigi Gerda Sapelza e Anton
Schieder. Oggi l’hotel riesce a coniugare arte e romanticismo. Grazie a moderne tecnologie e al notevole comfort l’hotel Kandlburg è molto richiesto come luogo di congressi
e seminari.
Tenuta Strasshof: Sin dalla fine del 12 sec. i Signori von Rodank amministravano la
tenuta Straßhof. Nel 1522 questo possedimento passò ai conti Von Enzenberg. Franz,
Barone Von Enzenberg, vendette la tenuta a Georg Unterkircher nell’anno 1727. Rimase
proprietà della famiglia Unterkircher per quattro generazioni. Nel periodo tra il 1811 e il
1961 la tenuta cambiò varie volte proprietario, finché nel 1968 ritornò proprietà degli
Unterkircher e da allora ospita un ristorante.
Tenuta Freyenthurn: La grande costruzione „Ansitz Freyenthurn“ caratterizza l’immagine del paese. Un monumento architettonico è il grande ponte di granito sul fiume
di Valles fatto costruire dal cancelliere Metternich intorno al 1840. La torre fu costruita
tra il 1269 e il 1277 e poi adattata da Georg von Enzenberg e i suoi figli a sede nobiliare, circondata da mura. La sede venne ampliata nel corso degli anni, come l’ala
ovest e al piano superiore l’arcata. Quando si estinse la linea dei discendenti di Rio di
Pusteria, gli eredi vendettero la casa al canonico Hirn. Lui lasciò la costruzione alle
suore terziarie. Dal 1856 la sede Freyenthurn divenne scuola conventuale per ragazze
delle suore terziarie.

Parish Church of St. Helena: Built in the 13th century, with numerous frescoes
dating back to the 15th century. Contemporary round shaped church annex exists since
1975. The grave stones of the nobles, tax collectors and keepers in the church wall are
worth seeing.
The close of Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach: The earliest mention of the valley and
the road post is found in a certificate of Count Friedrich von Rodank dating back to
1269. It’s unknown how the close might have looked like before time. Taxes were levied
at the close since 1288. Situated on the border, the close served also as a military
fortification, which in 1526 was unsuccessfully besieged by Michael Gaißmair. Fierce
fighting took place here on Nov. 8, 1809 between the Tyrolean strikers and the French
general Rusca. In 1997 the association „Verein Mühlbacher Klause“ was established,
which in cooperation with the Regional Government of South Tyrol, the Council of Culture, the Department of Historical Monuments, the Municipality of Rio di Pusteria, the
Foundation Cassa di Risparmio and private donors, set the goal to renovate the monument and to make it usable again. The close of Rio di Pusteria is an awe-inspiring
monument overflowing with history and can be visited during the summer months.

Chapel „Stöcklvater“: Situated along the modern state road to Sciaves/Schabs. It
was built on the side of the road in honor of „Our Lord in misery“. Built in 1729 it is still
a popular place of pilgrimage. Beautiful Baroque frescoes from 1750 can be seen on
the exterior walls of the chapel.

Chapel Maria-HiIf: A monument of the High Baroque, it is located at the eastern
entrance of the old country road in the village center. It was first mentioned in 1653.
Every Wednesday the pries of Mühlbach celebrated here the Holy Mass. Over the time,

Straßhof Residence: The Lords of Rodank had been managing the Straßhof estate
since the end of the 12th century. In 1522 it became the property of counts of Enzenberg. Franz Freiherr von Enzenberg sold the residence to Georg Unterkircher in 1727, in
whose possession it remained for four generations. Between 1811 and 1961 the estate
changed several owners until in 1968 it became the possession of the Unterkircher
family and was turned into a restaurant.
Freyenthurn Residence: The massive building „Ansitz Freyenthurn“ dominates the
scenery nearby. An architectural monument, built by Chancellor Metternich in 1840, is a
large granite bridge over River Valles that connects the Reichsstraße. The medieval tower, built between 1269 and 1277 by Georg von Enzenberg and his sons, was originally
going to become a family residence surrounded by walls. The residence was expanded
over the years, as the west wing and the upper floor of the arcade were added. When the
line of descendants from Rio di Pusteria became extinct, the heirs sold the residence to
the Canon of Bressanone Hirn, who left it to the Tertiary Sisters. Since 1856 the residence
started functioning as a monastery school of the Tertiary Sisters.

erste Kirche wurde in Vals im 14. Jh. erwähnt. Die Pfarre Vals wurde ursprünglich von
Rodeneck aus versorgt. Im 15. Jh. wurde die Kirche vergrößert und im gotischen Stil
ausgebaut; von dieser Kirche ist noch der schöne Turm erhalten. Erst Ende des 17. Jh.
wurde Vals eine eigene Kuratie.
Panoramaplattform: Die Aussichtsplattform Stoanamandl (2118 m) ist ab Bergstation Jochtal in ca. 45 min leicht zu erreichen. Der Standort lässt bei klarem Wetter
die 360 Grad Sicht auf Berggipfel Südtirols zu und eine Beschreibung erleichtert die
Bezeichnung der Gipfel.

Pfarrkirche Maria Verkündigung in Vintl: Selten ist ein so schönes Kirchenensemble zu finden wie in Vintl: Wer von Westen über die alte Dorfstraße kommt, die Brücken überschritten hat und zum Friedhof hinaussteigt, hat die alte Urbanskirche vor sich,
die farbensatte Fassade der Neuen Kirche (Pfarrkirche Mariä Verkündigung) und, alles
überragend, den gotisch-spitzen Glockenturm. Besonders eindrucksvoll präsentieren
sich die Deckenmalereien von Josef Anton Zoller in der Pfarrkirche Mariä Verkündigung.
Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus in Obervintl: Die in alten Urkunden öfters genannte „Weiße Kirche“ von Obervintl wird um 1300 zum ersten Mal erwähnt. Vom alten romanischen Krichenbau hat sich außer dürftigen Grundmauern nichts mehr erhalten. Die
heutige Kirche ist ein einheitlicher Bau der Gotik, errichtet am Ende des 15. Jh. Die
Deckengemälde stammen aus der Zeit der im Renaissancestil um 1891 durchgeführten
Restaurierung.

Baroque elements were added. Its windows portray the maid Katharina Lanz, heroine

meraviglioso insieme di chiese, raro da trovare in altri luoghi. Chi proviene da ovest percorrendo la vecchia strada del paese, oltrepassati i ponti e raggiunto il cimitero, si trova
di fronte all’antica chiesa di S. Urbano, alla facciata dai colori vivi della chiesa nuova
(Chiesa parrocchiale dell’Annunciazione) nonché all’affusolato campanile gotico che
sovrasta gli edifici circostanti. Risultano particolarmente imponenti le pitture realizzate

Parish Church of the Annunciation in Vandoies di Sotto/Niedervintl: It’s
difficult to find such a beautiful church ensemble as in Vandoies elsewhere. If you are
coming from the west, take the old village road, cross the bridge and when reached the
cemetery, right in front you will see the historic Church of St. Urban, the brightly-colored
facade of the new church (Parish Church of the Annunciation) and above all a splendid
Gothic tower that dominates the surrounding. Particularly impressive are the paintings
created by Josef Anton Zoller on the ceiling of the Church of the Annunciation.

Chiesa parrocchiale di San Tommaso a Vallarga: Oltre alle fondamenta, parzialmente integrate negli elementi gotici della struttura attuale, non si é conservato nulla
della prima costruzione, menzionata già nel 1180. A partire dall’anno 1431 la chiesa
venne sottoposta ad accurata opera di restauro e riconsacrata. Del vecchio edificio si
sono conservati il coro, realizzato in pietra da taglio, il portale principale ad arco acuto
sul lato ovest (dotato di incisioni di scalpellino) nonché il campanile.
Chiesa parrocchiale di San Martino a Fundres: Anche la chiesa di San Martino
é caratteristica per questa valle, abitata da una popolazione contadina e ricca di tradizioni. Si tratta di un’eccellente opera del tardo gotico: nella sua espressività, la chiesa,
infatti, costituisce una gemma preziosa del passato.

Museo Civico di Brunico: Rifondato nel 1990 e riaperto al pubblico nel 1995 nelle
antiche stalle della posta, il Museo Civico di Brunico esiste già dal 1912. Nel biennio

parte portati a Bolzano. Oggi il nuovo museo custodisce parte della collezione storico-artistica dell’antico museo civico di Brunico (sculture e dipinti di Michael e Friedrich

Der Südtiroler Milchsteig führt vom Talende von Vals hinauf zur Fane Alm, wo alle zwei
Jahre das Südtiroler Milchfest stattfindet. Auf der Höhe der Kurzkofelhütte (1422 m) beginnt
der Weg Nr. 17 bei der Brücke über den Valler Bach. Immer wieder laden Informationstafeln
zur Rast ein und informieren den Wanderer über Fakten der Südtiroler Milchwirtschaft. Der
alte und steile Weg quert einige Male die Straße und schenkt grandiose Ausblicke in die danebenliegende Schlucht. Nach erreichter Höhe folgt man der Straße bis zum Fane Parkplatz
und weiter bis zur Fane Alm (1758 m), dem wunderschönen Almdorf, eine Gruppierung
mehrerer Hütten mit einer kleinen Maria-Hilf-Kapelle. Hier gibt es bewirtschaftete Hütten und
eine Käserei. Der Rückweg verläuft auf demselben Weg.
Länge: ca. 3 km, HM: 340 m, Dauer: ca. 2,30 h.
Mit Elfe Lilli die Natur am Wegesrand mit allen Sinnen erleben: Der Elfenweg in Obervintl. Der Elfenweg verläuft am Waldrand nördlich von Obervintl. Start ist
der Parkplatz bei der Kirche von Obervintl. Zuerst quert man die Hauptstraße und folgt
danach den gut ausgeschilderten Weg, der elf Stationen lang ist. Die Stationen laden
zum aktiven Erleben und Lernen durch Mitmachen ein. Besonders beeindruckend ist der
Wasserfall, der gleichzeitig auch zur Rast einlädt. Ideal für Familien und fast zur Gänze
mit Kinderwagen befahrbar. Der Rückweg führt zum Teil auf demselben Weg.

Bienenweg: Wussten Sie, dass wir den Bienen neben Honig auch zahlreiche weitere
Produkte wie Bienenwachs, Pollen, Propolis und Gelée Royal verdanken? Dass eine
Biene für 1 kg Honig in etwa 2-4 Mal um den Erdkreis fliegt? Auf dieser Rundwanderung - mit einer Biene ausgeschildert - befinden sich 20 Stationen, wo diese und andere
Informationen rund um Biene und Honig beschrieben werden. Start ist beim Tourismusbüro in Vill (Dorfzentrum) und führt über einen Steig leicht abwärts zum Locherhof.
Weiter geht es über einen Waldweg Richtung Sandegg. Ein weiterer Anstieg führt zum
Lechnerhof und dann in Richtung Fraktion Spisses. Von dort aus geht der Weg durch
den Wald zur Astner-Leite. Hier genießt der Wanderer einen ungewöhnlichen Ausblick
auf das Schloss Rodenegg bevor er wieder ins Dorf zum Ausgangspunkt zurückkehrt.

Der Pfunderer Höfeweg ist ein Rundweg, der an traditionellen Höfen entlang führt.
Die Gesamtlänge des Höfewegs beträgt 7 km, alternativ ist die kürzere Strecke knapp

SENTIERI TEMATICI
Il sentiero del latte porta dal fondo della valle di Valles in alto fino alla malga Fane, dove
ha luogo ogni due anni la festa del latte Alto Adige. All’altezza della baita Kurzkofelhütte
(1422 m) inizia il sentiero Nr. 17 presso il ponte sul torrente di Valles. Lungo il sentiero ci
sono sempre delle tavole didattiche che riportano informazioni sulla produzione del latte in
Alto Adige. Il vecchio e ripido sentiero attraversa alcune volte la strada e regala delle vedute
spettacolari sulla gola adiacente. Dopo aver raggiunto l’altitudine si segue la strada fino al
parcheggio della malga Fane e fino alla malga Fane (1758 m), il piccolo villaggio alpino
composto da diverse baite con una piccola cappella. Qui si trovano baite gestite e un caseificio. Per il ritorno si segue la via dell’andata.

Con l’elfa Lilli scoprire la natura con tutti i sensi: Il sentiero degli elfi a Vandoies
di Sopra.Il sentiero degli elfi costeggia il bosco a nord di Vandoies di Sopra. Partenza è
il parcheggio presso la chiesa parrocchiale di Vandoies di Sopra. Prima si attraversa la
strada e dopo si segue il sentiero ben segnato con ben undici stazioni. Queste invitano alla
scoperta della natura attraverso l’esperienza diretta e la partecipazione attiva. Impressionante
la maestosa cascata che invita a riposare. Ideale per famiglie e quasi interamente adatto a
passeggini. Per ritornare si segue in parte il sentiero dell’andata.

Sentiero delle api: Sapevate che oltre al miele le api producono altri prodotti come la cera
d’api, il polline e il propoli? Sapevate che per produrre 1 kg di miele un’ape deve compiere
voli che corrispondono a 2 – 4 volte la circonferenza della terra? Il sentiero contrassegnato
con una targhetta di un’ape è costeggiato da 20 stazioni, che riportano queste e altre informazioni sulle api e sul miele. Partenza è presso l’ufficio turistico a Villa (centro paese)
e porta in leggera discesa fino al maso Locherhof. Si prosegue sul sentiero nel bosco in
direzione Sandegg. Dopo una leggera salita fino al Lechnerhof si continua in direzione della
frazione Spissa/Spisses. Adesso il sentiero porta attraverso il bosco fino alla Astner-Leite, da
dove si gode un’ottima vista inusuale sul castello Rodenegg prima di ritornare al paese al
punto di partenza.

Via dei Masi in Val di Fundres La via dei masi in Val di Fundres è un percorso didattico
ad anello che si snoda a fianco di alcuni antichi masi. Lunghezza complessivamente 7 km,
percorso più breve ca. 3,5 km. La via dei masi è adatta a tutta la famiglia. Negli uffici turistici
è disponibile la brochure gratuita “La Via dei Masi”.

The South Tyrolean Milk path leads from the valley of Valles all the way up to Malga
Fane, where the South Tyrolean Milk Festival takes place every two years. When you reach
the Kurzkofelhütte (1422 m) follow the path no. 17 that begins at the bridge the stream of
Valles. Again and again the information panels invite the hikers to rest and to learn interesting
facts about the South Tyrolean dairy industry. This old and steep path crosses several times
the road and gives a spectacular view over the adjacent canyon. After reaching the top, follow
the road until the Fane parking lot and further to Malga Fane (1758 m), a beautiful mountain
village with several houses and a small chapel. There are mountain taverns and a dairy farm.
The return route runs along the same trail.

Discover the nature with all your senses together with elves: The Elven path
in Vandoies di Sopra/Obervintl. The Elven path lies close to the forest north of Vandoies di
Sopra. The start is the parking lot next to the church of Vandoies di Sopra. First you cross the
main road and then follow a well-marked trail, which includes eleven stations. Each station
offers tasks for active engagement and learning through participating. Particularly impressive
is the waterfall, which is also a great place to have some rest. It is ideal for families and is
almost entirely passable with a stroller. The return route runs mainly along the same trail.

The Bees path: Did you know that we owe to bees not only honey, but also many other
products such as bee wax, pollen, propolis and royal jelly? That for 1 kg of honey a bee
flies about 2-4 times around the globe? This circular hike marked with a bee includes 20
stations where this and other information about bees and honey is described. The trail starts
at the tourist office in Villa/Vill (village center) and continues slightly downhill to Locherhof
and further along a forest path direction Sandegg. Another rise leads to Lechnerhof and then
direction Spissa/Spisses. From there, the path goes through the forest to Astner-Leite. Here
hikers can enjoy an unusual view of the Rodengo/Rodenegg castle before returning back to
the village to the starting point.

Gifen. Entlang der Straße vorbei an der Spritzenhütte (1001 m) nach Nauders, dort

Almhüttenrundweg in Dun, Pfunders: Wegverlauf: Am Ausgangspunkt Parkplatz
Dun ist der Rundweg mit eigenen Wegweisern „Almhüttenrundweg“ ausgeschildert. Diesen folgt man zunächst auf Asphalt bis zur Boden Alm, dann über die Almstraße. Nun geht
es in Serpentinen etwas steil empor bis zu einer Brücke im Eisbruggtal. Hier liegen oft das
ganze Jahr hindurch die Schneereste von Lawinen. Nach einem 180 ° Richtungswechsel
führt eine Almstraße in leichtem Auf und Ab zur Gampiel Alm (2.047m), dem höchsten
Punkt der Wanderung. Herrlicher Rundblick! Der Abstieg erfolgt über die Almstraße hinunter auf die Eggerseite, hoch über dem Talkessel von Pfunders. Wahlweise kann auch die
Abkürzung über einen recht steilen Steig gewählt werden. In einer Kurve auf der Eggerseiter
Straße angelangt, führen Wegweiser zurück zum Parkplatz Dun.

sentiero nr. 21 A e 21 – poi sentiero nr. 6 fino alla cima Klein Gitsch (2262 m) - discesa
per la cresta fino alla baita Moserhütte (1936 m) – in direzione est sullo stesso livello
marcatura “Almhüttenrundweg/escursione circolare baite del Gitschberg” fino alla baita
Bacherhütte (1744 m) – discesa fino al crocevia Grabenkreuz (1681 m) - direzione

Baita Anratterhütte: Itinerario: parcheggio Bild Wetterkreuz (1351 m) – segnavia

Giro delle frazioni di Rodengo: Itinerario: parcheggio Villa (885 m) seguire sempre l’indicazione “Dörferrunde”: all’ufficio informazioni scendere sul sentiero nr. 6 fino al
maso Locher (837 m), salire passando il maso Aster, attraversare la strada e prendere
il sentiero nr. 1 “Finthersteig” per Chivo. Lungo la strada passare il capannone “Spritzenhütte” (1001 m) e proseguire per San Benedetto. All’uscita del paese prendere il sentiero
a destra e scendere verso San Paolo. Passare lo “Steigerhof”, attraversare la strada e
dal centro paese di San Paolo (860 m) proseguire sul sentiero “Dörferrunde” per Villa.
Facile, con scalini, Lunghezza: 7,9 km, dislivello: 325 m, durata: 2,20 h.
Giro delle baite a Fundres: Itinerario: Questo sentiero è contrassegnato “Almhüttenrundweg”. Dal parcheggio Dun, punto di partenza dell’escursione, seguire queste
indicazioni percorrendo la strada asfaltata in direzione Boden Alm, poi su strada sterrata
salendo le serpentine ripide per la zona Eisbruggtal fino a un ponte. In questa zona c’è
neve tutto l’anno (residui di slavine invernali). Dopo un cambiamento di direzione di
180° una strada alpina con poco dislivello porta fino alla baita Gampiel Alm (2.047
m), il punto più alto dell’escursione con vista panoramica spettacolare. La discesa
segue la strada alpina verso Eggerseite, sopra la conca di Fundres. Volendo si può
prendere la scorciatoia molto ripida. In una curva della strada Eggerseite le indicazioni
portano di nuovo verso il parcheggio Dun

trail no. 1 - cross the bridge “Rundlbrücke” and stay on trail no. 1 - easy way up to the
cross “Viummer Kreuz” to the hill “Stögerbühle” and on the trail called “Cicilyrweg” back
to Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach.

Loop road of cabins at Fundres/Pfunders: Trail description: From the starting point
– the parking lot Dun - on an asphalted and “Almhüttenrundweg” marked trail and afterwards to an alpine trail to follow to the hut Boden Alm. From that point on you have to
follow the trail into the Valley Eisbruggtal. Afterwards you have to turn your direction for
about 180° and follow the alpine trail to the alpine hut Gampiel Alm, where you have a
wonderful view. You return on the alpine trail in the direction of Eggerseite. A shorter trail
will be a steeper trail. After the bend, follow the trail to the parking lot Dun.
