Il pneumatico FTS è un pneumatico tubeless che può essere montato su qualsiasi ruota a raggi e non senza ausili aggiuntivi dato che sarà il pneumatico a trattenere l’aria grazie a una speciale membrana applicata in fase di stampaggio rendendolo un pezzo unico con il pneumatico. Il pneumatico FTS garantisce una buona sicurezza anche a forature e tagli, dato che viene applicato una protezione in un materiale composito che permette l’uso anche a bassissime pressione (0,7 ‐ 0,8 bar) senza il rischio del tipo “snake bite” causato dal cerchio sulle camere d’aria ma anche resistere a bucature, e permette l’utilizzo di liquidi antiforatura che possono garantire l’autoriparazione anche a fori o tagli. Tutti i vantaggi del FTS “Flite Tubeless System” di Goldentyre:  nessun utilizzo di cerchi particolari,  nessun stallonamento del pneumatico,  peso contenuto, il peso è simile al peso di un pneumatico con camera d’aria di 3 mm e più leggero rispetto all’utilizzo della mousse,  possibilità di calibrare la pressione, in base all’esigenza del terreno, rispetto all’utilizzo della mousse,  contenimento della temperatura della gomma, in quanto non esiste una frizione sul pneumatico, così da aumentarne la durata e performance,  semplicità di montaggio, ancora più semplice di una camera d’aria.  ottima sensazione di guida, precisione, leggerezza, stabilità. L’utilizzo del sistema FTS Goldentyre da dei risultati esaltanti ed un’ottima resa negli pneumatici off‐road specialmente nel motocross e rally sia all’anteriore che al posteriore. La grande stabilità della temperatura, che il pneumatico tubeless garantisce, non avendo le tipiche frizioni che avvengono nell’utilizzo tra pneumatico/camera d’aria o pneumatico /mousse rende il sistema particolarmente allettante anche per i grandi raid dove la temperatura spesso genera usure precoci del pneumatico in seguito all’ aumento della pressione sia che si usi la camera d’aria che si usi la mousse. Una attenzione particolare nell’ utilizzo del sistema FTS è quello di avere un ferma copertone in buono stato e nel caso per utilizzo bassissima pressione e con moto particolarmente potenti si consiglia utilizzo di 2 ferma copertoni.
