dagli anni ’60, e per circa trent’anni, vengono realizzate cucine moderne,
sul modello classico della cucina americana. agli inizi degli anni ‘90
adriano passa il testimone al figlio alberto grazie al quale, nel 1999,
avviene un cambiamento di stile. alberto minotti individua un percorso
progettuale, all’interno della filosofia minimalista. oggi, minotticucine fa
parte del gruppo asso, gruppo imprenditoriale al tempo stesso tecnico
e artigiano del mobile. l’azienda, nata nell’88, ha dato vita alla propria
attività nel settore della produzione, realizzazione e vendita di arredamenti
per negozi. founded by adriano minotti, minotticucine was born in 1949
in valpolicella. from the ‘60s and for about thirty years, modern kitchens
were manufactured, modelled on the classic american kitchen. in the
early ‘90s adriano passed the baton to his son
alberto, thanks to whom, in 1999, there was
a change of style. alberto minotti identifies a
design path, within the minimalist philosophy.
today, minotticucine is part of the asso group,
a business group at the same time technical
and artisan in the furniture field. the company,
founded in 1988, gave birth to its activities in the production, development and sale of shop
furnishings. geschichte minotticucine wurde 1949 im italienischen valpolicella von adriano
minotti gegründet. ab den sechzigerjahren entwarf das unternehmen etwa dreißig jahre lang
moderne küchen nach amerikanischem vorbild. anfang der neunziger wurde minotticucine
dann von adrianos sohn alberto übernommen, der ab 1999 einen neuen stil etablierte. die
reduzierung auf das wesentliche steht für alberto minotti im mittelpunkt. heute gehört
minotticucine zur asso group, einem möbelkonzern, dem funktionalität und handwerkskunst
gleichermaßen wichtig sind. die 1988 gegründete unternehmensgruppe gestaltet, produziert und
verkauft ladeneinrichtungen. основателем adriano minotti, minotticucine создана в 1946 году

non molto distante dalla sede, in un piccolo borgo di origine
paleocristiana, sorge la chiesa di san giorgio. nelle sue peculiarità
conduce a tre concetti base: monocromaticità, monomatericità,
maestosità. i suoi volumi puri sono evidenziati dalla presenza della sola
luce naturale che filtra grazie alle sue lunghe e strette aperture. entrando
c’è il buio ma, quando l’occhio si abitua, si percepiscono “silenzio per
gli occhi, pace per lo spirito”. inoltre, le zone limitrofe a minotticucine
sono riconosciute da sempre come luoghi di lavorazione della pietra.
era insito nella cultura attingere alla sapienza e all’alta qualità di queste
maestranze. minotticucine ha così iniziato a progettare le proprie cucine
con il piano di lavoro in pietra. successivamente anche il lavello è stato
realizzato con lo stesso materiale, richiamando l’antica tradizione. un
ulteriore passo è stato quello di realizzare i frontali in pietra, ottenendo
così la monomatericità. not far from the headquarters, in a small village
of early christian origin, is the church of san giorgio. in its peculiarities
are three basic concepts: monochromaticity, monomaterial, majesty.
its pure volumes are highlighted by the presence of the only natural
light which filters through thanks to its long and narrow openings. on
entering there is darkness but, when the eye gets used to it, one can
sense “silence to the eyes, peace for the spirit.” in addition, the areas
around minotticucine have always been well known as places of stone
working. it was inherent in the culture to draw on the wisdom and
the high quality of these workers. minotticucine therefore started to
design their kitchens with the work surfaces in stone. subsequently
also the sink was made with the same material, recalling the ancient
traditions. a further step has been to realize the facades in stone, thus
obtaining use of a single material. nicht weit vom unternehmenssitz
entfernt liegt in einer kleinen ortschaft aus frühchristlicher zeit die
kirche san giorgio. das zunächst eigentümliche äußere weist drei
grundlegende konzepte auf: durchgängigkeit bei farbe und material
und erhabenheit. die klaren strukturen werden durch das sonnenlicht
aus den langen, schmalen öffnungen noch unterstrichen. hat sich im
inneren der kirche das auge erst einmal an das halbdunkel gewöhnt,
empfangen einen stille für die augen und frieden für den geist“.
das umland des unternehmenssitzes war schon immer für seine
steinbrüche und die steinbearbeitung bekannt. das vertrauen in das
wissen und die fertigkeiten der hiesigen handwerksmeister ist in der
region tief verwurzelt. so begann man auch bei minotticucine damit,
küchenarbeitsplatten aus stein zu entwerfen. es folgten steinerne
spülbecken – so wie sie früher üblich waren. zuletzt wurden auch
fronten aus stein gefertigt und damit eine durchgängige verwendung
eines einzigen materials verwirklicht. недалеко от главного офиса
в необычном палеокристианском дворе, воспроизведена церковь
святого георгия, в своем превосходстве показывает концепцию
основ: монохромность, мономатериа, возвышенность. его воздушные
объемы подчеркнуты только лишь натуральным светом проникающим
через удлиненные и уточненные зазоры. входя, кажется что вы
во тьме, но затем глаза приобретают тишину для восприятия и
покой для чувств. окрестности вокруг minotticucine известны своим
искусством обработки камня. инстинкт и уточненная культура в этом
ремесле стали синонимом качества. minotticucine начало приобрели
именно от этой концепции по обработке камня для столешниц. в
последующем и остальные части для кухни были воспроизведена
в этом камне и стиле, придерживаясь античной традиции. в
последующем и боковые части наших изделий были реализованы
из камня, создавая таким образом определенную мономатерию.

silenzio per gli occhi, quiete per lo spirito. è da questa riflessione che
scaturisce la filosofia progettuale di minotticucine. filosofia, non stile,
perché per noi la progettazione, prima di ogni altra cosa, è ricerca
continua e cammino esistenziale. proponiamo un vero e proprio
modo di vivere libero dagli eccessi e dal superfluo. circondati dal
frastuono e dal caos della contemporaneità il nostro fare è divenuto
costante ricerca del silenzio. un silenzio per gli occhi in grado di
liberare la mente, di esaltare la spiritualità e di porre l’uomo al
centro del progetto casa. nel nostro vocabolario il vuoto perde la sua
connotazione negativa: non è percepito come assenza o mancanza,
bensì rappresenta una pausa, un momento di riflessione in cui poter
trascendere il materialismo imperante e lasciare spazio all’interiorità.
tutto questo si traduce in un rigoroso lavoro di sottrazione, applicato
all’intero ambiente domestico. silence for the eyes, peace for the spirit.
it is from this reflection that the design philosophy of minotticucine
comes. philosophy, not style, because for us the design, above all
else, is continuous research and an existential journey. we propose a
real way of life free from the excess and the superfluous. surrounded
by the hustle and bustle of contemporary life our way has become
the constant pursuit of silence. a silence for the eyes can free the
mind, enhance spirituality and place man at the centre of the house
project. in our vocabulary void loses its negative connotation: it is
not perceived as an absence or lack, but rather represents a pause, a
moment of reflection in which to transcend the rampant materialism
and leave room for inner reflection. all this results in a precise process
of subtraction, applied to the entire home environment. stille für die

in all dem lärm und chaos unserer heutigen welt sind wir auf der suche

lo spazio abitativo si fa primordiale, privo di ogni aggiunta e spogliato
da tutto ciò che può distrarre l’occhio e sporcare la vista. le forme
elementari e pure dei nostri prodotti sono il frutto di questo processo.
tutto viene ridotto al minimo quasi a voler negare l’intervento
dell’uomo sugli elementi: spariscono le maniglie, gli zoccoli, i rubinetti
e tutti quei dettagli ostentati tipici del design tradizionale, mentre l’uso
dei colori e dei materiali diviene rigoroso ed intransigente. creiamo
così volumi monolitici, monocromatici e monomaterici che, nella loro
quieta astrattezza e presenza scultorea, non rinunciano ad essere
oggetti d’uso quotidiano celando alla vista tutti gli elementi funzionali.
la nostra ambizione è riuscire a fare poesia senza rinunciare a quei
principi di razionalità e funzionalità che sono le fondamenta del design
e della cultura industriale. the living space is primordial, without any
addition and stripped from everything that can distract the eye and
blur the view. the pure and elementary shapes of our products are the
result of this process. everything is minimized as if to deny human
intervention on the elements: the handles, bases, taps and all those
ostentatious details typical of traditional design disappear, while the
use of colours and materials becomes rigorous and uncompromising.
in this way we create monolithic, monochromatic and monomaterial
volumes that, in their quiet abstraction and sculptural presence, do
not give up being everyday objects while concealing all functional
elements from view. our ambition is to create poetry without sacrificing
the principles of rationality and functionality that are the foundations
of design and industrial culture. die wohnfläche wird einfach und
ursprünglich gestaltet, ohne zierrat und ablenkungen, der blick kann
frei schweifen. die natürlichen und klaren formen unserer produkte
spiegeln dieses grundprinzip wieder. jedes element ist auf die essenz
seiner selbst reduziert, die spuren des menschen werden verwischt:
keine griffe, sockel, wasserhähne, keines der sonst üblichen, aber
überflüssigen details, farben und materialien werden konsequent

pietra, legno, metallo, acqua e fuoco sono i depositari della volontà
di congelare il tempo. la semplicità estrema, unita all’uso di materiali
naturali costituiscono una sfida al vorticoso susseguirsi delle mode
effimere e delle tendenze. i materiali naturali hanno la capacità di
invecchiare assumendo con il trascorrere degli anni quella patina del
tempo, che ne esalta fascino e valenza estetica; fissando il tempo
in forme arcaiche, rendiamo eterni i nostri prodotti. il microcosmo

non uno spazio asettico e impersonale bensì un luogo capace di
amplificare l’anima, nel quale la neutralità della progettazione cede la
parola alla materia e alla soggettività di chi lo abita. il design lascia
spazio alla vita. l’individuo torna così ad essere il vero protagonista
dello spazio domestico, per troppo tempo invaso e soffocato da una
moltitudine di oggetti inutili, partoriti dalla dilagante cultura del
consumismo. chi sceglie minotticucine, non acquista soltanto degli
oggetti ma sposa un modo di vivere, di vedere e di relazionarsi con
il mondo, in un concetto di sartorialità che interpreta la personalità
in modo assoluto. not a sterile and impersonal place but a place
capable of amplifying the soul, in which the neutrality of the design
gives the floor to the subject and the subjectivity of those who inhabit
the space. the design leaves room for life. the individual thus returns
to being the true protagonist of the domestic space, for too long
overgrown and choked by a multitude of useless objects, born from
the culture of rampant consumerism. whoever chooses minotticucine,
not only acquires an object but embraces a way of life, of seeing and
interacting with the world, in a concept of tailoring that interprets
the personality absolutely. kein steriler und anonymer raum, sondern
ein befreiender ort, in dem materialien und das wesen der bewohner
wichtiger sind als sachliches design. hier bleibt raum zum leben: der
mensch wird wieder zum protagonisten. viel zu lange wurde er von
unnützen dingen – den folgen der konsumkultur – verdrängt und
erstickt. wir bei minotticucine verkaufen keine gegenstände, sondern

silenzi eloquenti regnano all’interno della casa minotticucine. questo
spazio, privato di ogni aggiunta e spogliato da tutto ciò che può distrarre
l’occhio e sporcare la vista, risulta un ambiente monocromatico
costituito da pavimenti interni ed esterni in pietra lapis beige levigata
opaca e soffitto in masselli di legno tinto grigiobeige. elementi di
collegamento tra pavimento e soffitto sono le colonne: push-pull
atelier e complanari terra. le colonne atelier sono realizzate in legno
di eucalipto tinto grigiobeige con venatura verticale, mentre le terra
presentano il medesimo legno con venatura orizzontale. l’isola in lapis
beige finitura moontouch con schienale a spacco realizzato a mano,
disponibile per tutti i modelli di cucine, è protagonista dello spazio
interno. oltre la vetrata, intravista nella sua prospettiva, troviamo la
cucina monoblocco da esterni incline, in pietra in lapis beige finitura
moontouch. eloquent silence reigns inside the house minotticucine.
this space without any addition is stripped of whatever could
distract your eye or soil your view and shows a monochromatic room
consisting of interior and exterior floors made of lapis beige stone
with matt honed finish and a ceiling of grigiobeige stained solid wood
blocks. floor and ceiling are connected by tall units: atelier push-pulls
and terra sliding doors. the atelier tall units are made of grigiobeige
stained eucalyptus wood with vertical grain, while the terra elements
are made of the same wood, but with horizontal grain. the kitchen
island of lapis beige stone with moontouch finish and handmade split
backrest, available in all models, dominates the interior space. beyond
the glass you can catch sight of the outdoor kitchen unit incline in
its perspective. it is made of beige lapis stone with moontouch finish.
vielsagendes schweigen herrscht im inneren des hauses minotticucine.
dieser raum ohne jegliches zusatzelement, und was auch immer das
auge ablenken und den blick zerstören könnte, zeigt ein einfarbiges

modellen erhältlich, herrscht im innenraum. jenseits des glases erblickt
man in ihrer perspektive die outdoor-küche incline in blockbauweise,

progetto cucina terra. la terra, con le sue acque, le sue foreste, le
sue montagne, è straordinariamente bella nel suo essere, nella sua
presenza nuda e silenziosa. contrariamente agli artefatti quotidiani
in cui l’uso e la funzione sono predominanti, la terra è ciò che è,
indipendentemente da chi siamo, da cosa facciamo e dalle funzioni
che le diamo. nel pensare alla cucina terra ho immaginato un oggetto
che, per quanto utile e funzionale si manifesti con la stessa forza della
natura: solida, atemporale, astratta. ho espresso l’immenso valore
della terra con una forma dalla geometria rigorosa e dai materiali
naturali - porfido e cedro. cucinare su un piano di porfido datato
ventotto milioni di anni mi fa sentire contemporaneamente reverente
e fortunato. project terra kitchen. the earth, its waters, its forests,
its mountains are extraordinarily beautiful in its being, in its naked
and silent presence. contrary to everyday artefacts where the use and
function are predominant, the earth is what it is, regardless of who
we are, what we do and the functions we give it. in thinking about
the terra kitchen i imagined an object that, as regards usefulness and
function manifests itself with the same force of nature: solid, timeless,
abstract. i expressed the immense value of the earth with a strict
geometrical shape and natural materials - porphyry and cedar. cooking
on a porphyry worktop dated twenty-eight million years makes me feel
simultaneously reverent and fortunate. die erde mit ihren gewässern,
wäldern und bergen betört uns mit ihrer reinen und stillen schönheit.
anders als bei gebrauchsgegenstände, bei denen es vor allem auf die
funktionalität ankommt, ist die erde so wie sie ist; es kümmert sie
nicht, wer wir sind, was wir machen oder welche funktion wir ihr geben
wollen. bei der planung der küche terra hatte ich etwas vor augen, das
trotz seiner funktionalität auch dieselbe kraft ausstrahlt wie die natur:
beständig, zeitlos, abstrakt. der kostbarkeit der erde habe ich durch
konsequent eingesetzte geometrische formen und durch die natürlichen
materialien porphyr und zeder ausdruck verliehen. das kochen auf
einer arbeitsplatte aus 28 millionen jahre altem porphyr erfüllt mich
gleichzeitig mit ehrfurcht und glück. проект кухни terra. земля,
воды, леса, горы очень красивы по своей природе, естественности и
тишине. противоположность серым будням и хаосу, земля не теряет
своей значимости независимо от нас, кто мы, куда идем и что делаем,
что думаем. мое мышление при создании кухни этой модели привело
к образу функциональности и в то же время прочности с естественной
природной красотой: прочная, вечная, абстрактная. я представил
ценность terra с строгой геометрической формой и природными
материалами - порфир и кедр. готовить еду на столешнице из порфира
как 28 миллионов лет назад придает чувства важности и счастья.

verticali ed orizzontali, determinano una
superficie caratterizzata dalla presenza di
geometrie regolari e cadenzate. anche le
colonne sono contraddistinte dallo stesso
modulo. the juxtaposition at 45° between
the worktops and facades, together with
the small vertical and horizontal profiles,
determine a surface characterized by the
presence of regular and cadenced geometries.
also the tall units are identified by the
same module. der 45-grad-winkel, in dem

geometrische formen. auch die hochmodule

è una magia. giocando con i gradi angolari delle superfici verticali
e orizzontali, siamo riusciti a far sparire il piano. che c’è ma non si
vede. l’alchimia è resa possibilie dal perfetto taglio a 45° tra le ante e
il banco: i due elementi combaciano al millimetro, mimetizzando gli
spessori e regalando leggerezza a tutto il blocco cucina. sottraendo il
piano abbiamo ancora una volta sposato e concretizzato quello spirito
minimalista che contraddistingue ogni nostra evoluzione. ritengo che
questa cucina sia in grado di esprimere al massimo le sue potenzialità
nei toni scuri. it is magic. playing with the angular degrees of vertical
and horizontal surfaces, we were able to get rid of the worktop. what
is there but not seen. alchemy is made possible by the perfect 45° cut
between the doors and the worktop: the two elements fit together to
the millimetre, camouflaging thicknesses and giving lightness to the
whole kitchen block. subtracting the worktop we have once again
married and concretized the minimalist spirit that characterizes our
evolution. i believe that this kitchen is able to fully express its potential
in dark tones. hier scheint zauberei am werk zu sein: die winkelgrade
der waagrechten und senkrechten oberflächen lassen die arbeitsplatte
verschwinden. zumindest ist sie erst auf den zweiten blick sichtbar.
das wird durch den perfekten 45-grad-winkel möglich, in dem türen
und platte millimetergenau aufeinandertreffen. so wird die stärke der
einzelnen elemente nicht erkennbar und der gesamte küchenblock
gewinnt eine gewisse leichtigkeit. die verborgene arbeitsplatte ist
ein weiterer ausdruck unserer freude am minimalismus, die in all
unseren produkten zutage tritt. meines erachtens entfaltet die küche
ihre wirkung am besten in dunklen tönen. это просто волшебство.

questa frase del filosofo greco platone ad averci ispirato. rispettando la
purezza geometrica delle forme essenziali, in inca abbiamo fatto salire
sul piedistallo le linee che dal basso corrono verso l’alto, spingendo
all’estremo il principio della sottrazione. abbiamo dunque ridotto le
forme, lavorando con due materiali: legno per le altezze, pietra per i
piani orizzontali. elementi naturali che combaciano e si completano
tra loro ed un esempio eccellente ne è l’incontro raffinato, semplice
ed elegante. the protagonist is the verticality. “let none but geometers
enter here”: this quote by the greek philosopher platone inspired us.
respecting the geometric purity of essential shapes, in inca we got on
the pedestal the lines that run from the bottom upwards, pushing to
the extreme the principle of subtraction. we have therefore reduced
the shapes, working with two materials: wood for height, stone for the
horizontal planes. natural elements fit together and complement each
other, and an excellent example of it is the refined, simple and elegant

der geometrischen reinheit der grundformen haben wir bei inca

verlaufen, gleichzeitig aber auch die konzentration auf das wesentliche
perfektioniert. wir haben uns auf einige wenige formen beschränkt und
nur zwei materialien verarbeitet: holz für die hohen strukturen, stein
für die waagrechten flächen. ein musterbeispiel dafür, wie harmonisch

mark the module of the kitchen. the thickness
of the top obliterates the thickness of the
doors by drawing a single perimeter line that
joins materials and finishes without any visual
distraction. the processing at 45° on the edges
of the doors and the top offers the kitchen a
unique identity of volume. the tall units coupled
to it have the same vertical profiles. inca wird

il disegno è semplice e lineare. al contrario, i particolari che
caratterizzano questo modello sono innumerevoli. ciascuno può dare
libero sfogo alla fantasia giocando con la gola, dritta o trasversale,
e le verticalità dei moduli. velia nasce così e ciascuna composizione
diventa unica e personale. l’impronta votata al minimalismo, propria
di ogni nostra creazione è ben evidente: la luce penetra tra i segmenti
e regala monocromaticità al binomio anta-gola. e il particolare
soggettivo segna la differenza. il monoblocco esterno e il pannello
maschera nascondono le diverse dimensioni dei moduli che la
compongono: una soluzione che ci ha permesso di inglobare anche
lo zoccolo, rendendolo invisibile. the design is simple and linear. on
the contrary, the details that characterise this model are innumerable.
each can give free rein to the imagination playing with straight or
transverse profiles, and vertical forms. velia was born like this and
so each composition becomes unique and personal. the imprint
devoted to minimalism, in each of our creations is evident: the light
penetrates between segments and offers monochromaticity to the
binomial door-profiles. and it is the subjective particulars that make
the difference. the integrated exterior and the outer masked panel hide
the different dimensions of the modules that make it up: a solution
that allowed us to incorporate even the base, making it invisible.

light enters, making the juxtaposition with the
doors monochromatic. velia is characterized by
a modular profile of six centimetres that can be
designed according to your creativity. between
the facades and the structures, a continuous
screen panel conceals the different dimensions
of the modules. the edges of the doors that
flank the grooves and the worktop are modelled
at 45°. the plinth has been obtained by
subtraction: an integral part of the screen panel.

è sospesa e sembra volare oppure rimane saldamente ancorata a terra,
come un naturale prolungamento del pavimento. di più, coniuga l’una
e l’altra dimensione, proponendosi in doppia profondità. in alluminio,
tanto leggero quanto resistente, nasconde in realtà un cuore di pietra
e un banco solido, alto tre centimetri. uno spessore importante che
abbiamo annullato e nascosto impiegando sette millimetri appena. così
infinitesimale è infatti la parte di anta che sporge dal bordo superiore
della composizione, contenendo il piano e diventando funzionale
anche per l’apertura e la chiusura dei moduli su cui non abbiamo
dovuto aggiungere maniglie o gole. it is suspended or seems to fly or
remains firmly anchored to the ground, as a natural extension of the
floor. moreover, combining the one and the other dimension, suggests
a double depth. aluminium, as light as it is resistant, hides a heart
of stone and a solid worktop, three centimetres high. an important
thickness that we cancelled and hid using just seven millimetres. so
infinitesimal is in fact the part of the door that protrudes from the
upper edge of the composition, containing the worktop and becoming
functional even for the opening and closing of the modules on which
we have not had to add handles or profiles. teilweise scheint maya zu

maya vereint diese beiden eindrücke zu einem faszinierenden
gesamtbild und beeindruckt durch doppelte tiefe. das ebenso leichte

eine stabile, drei zentimeter starke arbeitsplatte. ein imposantes maß,
dem wir jedoch mit nur wenigen millimetern die wuchtigkeit nehmen
konnten: denn gerade mal sieben millimeter ragen die türen über die
oberkante heraus und umrahmen auf diese weise die arbeitsplatte.
gleichzeitig können mithilfe des überstands auch die module geöffnet
und geschlossen werden, sodass griffe oder profile überflüssig werden.

siamo riusciti ad arruolare l’illuminazione per cancellare le linee scure
imposte dalle fessure, restituendo così alle forme quella linearità
e quell’essenzialità che sono il nostro spirito guida in ogni modello.
la carta vincente è dunque la luce, naturale o indotta che sia. ma c’è
molto altro. in metha si concretizzano due principi cari a minotticucine
che sono monomatericità e monocromaticità. oltre alla pietra, anche il
legno riesce ad esaltare al meglio le forme lineari e regolari di questo
progetto cucina. the light penetrates, enters the spaces, redraws
them, creates them and transforms them. we were able to enlist the
lighting to erase the dark lines imposed by the cracks, thus returning
to the shapes and the essential linearity which are our guiding spirit
in every model. the winning card is therefore the light, be it natural or
induced. but there is much more. in metha two principles materialise
that are dear to minotticucine, monomaterial and monochromaticity. in
addition to stone, wood is also able to bring out the best linear shapes
and regularities of this kitchen project. bei metha dreht sich alles um
licht: hier kann es frei in alle ecken drängen, strukturen verändern
und neue formen erschaffen. bei metha ist es uns dank der richtigen
beleuchtung gelungen, scharf umrissene und dunkle zwischenräume zu
vermeiden und so unserem ideal von geradlinigkeit und minimalismus
wieder ein stück näher zu kommen. der trumpf ist hier eindeutig das
zusammenspiel des natürlichen und des künstlichen lichts. aber das
ist nicht alles. metha verkörpert auch zwei weitere designprinzipien
von minotticucine: die durchgehende verwendung eines materials und
einer farbe. nicht nur stein, sondern auch holz akzentuiert die geraden
und ebenmäßigen formen. свет вторгается, наполняет пространство,

и исключить темные линии исходящие из отверстий, придав формам

в metha концентрируются два главных принципа из minotti кухни это мономатерия и монохромность. кроме камня, также и дерево
выделяет свои линейные формы в проектировании этой модели.

creando ombre morbide, mai nette, esaltando
così la monomatericià e la monocromaticità
della cucina. per enfatizzare ulteriormente
queste caratteristiche, le funzioni vengono
nascoste da un piano di forte spessore.
quando questo è chiuso, le linee convergono
in un parallelepipedo perfetto che crea un
volume compatto, puro e primordiale. quando
il piano viene fatto scorrere lungo l’asse della
profondità, le linee si scompongono creando
nuove forme e scoprendo fuochi e lavello. in
metha the breaks naturally present between the
doors, have been masked by introducing vertical
and horizontal profiles. here, light penetrates
creating soft shadows, never sharp magnifying
the monomaterial and monochromaticity of the
kitchen. to further emphasize these features,
functions are hidden by a thick worktop. when it
is closed, the lines converge in a parallelepiped
that creates a perfect compact volume, pure
and primal. when the worktop is slid along
the axis of the depth, the lines break down,
creating new forms and discovering burners
and the sink. an die stelle der fugen zwischen
den türen treten bei metha senkrechte und
waagrechte rillenprofile. das eindringende licht
schafft weiche schatten, deren spiel durch
die durchgehende materialverwendung und
farbgebung der küche eine besondere tiefe
erhält. um dieser besonderheit freien raum
zu lassen, sind die funktionalen elemente
durch eine besonders starke arbeitsplatte
verborgen. ist diese geschlossen, bildet das
element einen perfekten quader – kompakt,
kraftvoll, archaisch. wird die arbeitsplatte
in die tiefe geöffnet, löst sich die strenge
form auf und gibt herd und spülbecken frei. в
