PROGRAMMA SVOLTO
Il programma comprende due parti essenziali :
1) USO DELLA LINGUA LIVELLO TRA PET E FCE
Dal libro di testo in uso in seconda, English Plus Intermediate, di Ben
Wetz, ed. Oxford, si sono svolte esercitazioni mirate al potenziamento
delle attività di letterua e ascolto, al consolidamento e all'integrazione
delle strutture grammaticali e all'arrichimento lessicale. Poi si sono
svolte le unità 1, 2 e 3 di English Plus Upper-Intermediate, libro di testo
in uso in terza.
Revisione degli argomenti del biennio : formazione e uso dei principali
tempi del presente, passato e futuro
Nuovi argomenti grammaticali : if-clauses, forma passiva, past perfect,
used to, past modals.
Inoltre, si sono svolte le simulazioni di tutte le attività previste
dall'esame PET per le abilità di reading e listening e l'attività di sentence
transformation del writing. Infine, sono state effetuate alcune
simulazioni di reading livello FCE ed alcune esercitazioni di word
formation.

dovrà essere esposto alla classe nel mese di settembre. Si ricorda, come
già precisato in classe, che gli studenti possono scegliere tra due
principali opzioni : letteratura (lettura graduata o se accessibile,
versione originale integrale) oppure argomenti scientifici/tecnologici.
Per quanto riguarda letteratura, si allega la Reading List. La lista non
vuole essere esaustiva, è solo indicativa e può essere consultata in caso
di necessità. Presenta i principali autori che vengono solitamente studiati
nel triennio e alcuni titoli accessibili ai ragazzi.
Prima di acquistare il libro, si consiglia di consultare i cataloghi delle

Da consegnare nella prima settimana di scuola (dal 12 al 16 settembre,
secondo l'orario). A chi non consegna verrà assegnato un 2 nel registro.
Write a diary for about one month.
Keep a diary of everyday happenings, record your observations,
feelings, emotions, thoughts. Try to write every day or every other day
or once a week, and do it for about one month.
It will take you from about 15 minutes to half an hour each time.
When you are not inspired, just look around you and find something to
describe : an object, a person, a landscape, anything.
When you are so tired or bored that you can not even think, do not
worry : just copy a short text from your book, a dialogue, the lyrics of a
song, some quotations.
REMEMBER : You do not need to write a lot but you must write
carefully : think and check before you write. So, please, do not invent
words. Use a dictionary! Basic grammar rules are important too : check
them if necessary.
