A picco sul mare, su un promontorio che domina il porto turistico di Alassio, sorge, nella quiete,
la tenuta storica di Villa Sant’Anna.
La tenuta è costituita da circa 12.500 mq di terreno tipicamente terrazzato alla Ligure ricco di ulivi
ed altre essenze mediterranee, dalla Casa Padronale, edificio di circa 415 mq su tre piani costruito
nel 1868, e da due edifici ausiliari minori, la Casa del Custode e la Casa del Contadino.
Sebbene dalla Casa Padronale, così come da qualsiasi punto del parco circostante, si goda di uno
splendido panorama sull’isola Gallinara, sul porto di Alassio e sull’intero Golfo Ligure - nelle
giornate terse la vista si estende sino ai rilievi delle alpi Apuane e della Corsica - la casa stessa non
può essere vista se non dal mare, assicurando così ai suoi occupanti la massima riservatezza. Dalla
strada, infatti, sono percepibili solo la piccola casa del custode e l’accesso al percorso pedonale che
conduce alla casa padronale nel cuore del parco, totalmente inaccessibile alle auto.
È in corso di elaborazione un progetto di ristrutturazione dell’intera tenuta che prevede anche
la creazione di una dependance per gli ospiti, di una piscina ed di una autorimessa per dieci
autovetture a livello strada, che sarà collegata alla casa padronale più in alto solo per mezzo di un
ascensore panoramico inclinato.
Steep on the sea, upon a promontory that dominates the yacht harbour of Alassio, the historic estate “Villa St. Anna”
lies in quietness.
The property consists of about 12.500 sqm of typically Ligurian way terraced land, rich in olive trees and other
Mediterranean species, the Manor House, a three floors building of about 415 sqm built in 1868, and of two minor
auxiliary constructions, the Caretaker’s House and the Farmer’s house.
Although a wonderful panorama on the Gallinara Isle, the Alassio harbour and the whole Ligurian Gulf can be
enjoyed from the Manor House as well as from anywhere in the surrounding garden - on clear days the view extends
even to the mountains of Apuan Alps and of Corsica - the mansion itself cannot be seen but from the sea, thus
ensuring maximum privacy to its occupants. From the road, as a matter of fact, only the small Caretaker’s House and
the entrance to the walkway that leads to the Manor House in the heart of the garden, totally inaccessible to cars, can
be perceived.
A renovation project of the entire estate, also including the creation of a guest house, a swimming pool and a ten
cars garage at street level - to be connected to the Manor House up above just by a panoramic inclined lift - is being
developed.
