Dopo due anni il tradizionale
concerto gospel ritorna nella
Cattedrale di San Lorenzo a Lugano. Per l'occasione si esibiranno The Dixie Hummingbirds,
uno dei gruppi piú versatili, influenti, amati e longevi nella
storia della musica afro-americana. Avventurosi e animati
hanno una vastissima ed eclettica varietà di repertorio ma in
Chiesa si concentreranno nelle
versioni a cappella di molti tra
i piú apprezzati gospel songs.
Assieme a loro Mauro Ferrarese
fará omaggio alla grande Sister
Rosetta Tharpe, in un programma di cui è autore. Siamo certi
che qualche sorpresa si verificherà, come succede sempre in
questo momento cosí apprezzato
dal pubblico.
Il Blues to Bop si congeda con
un concerto che raccoglie i
suoi musicisti in una serata in
gran parte diversa da quelle
precedenti. Caratterizzata da
un'impronta "improvvisata" si
trasformerà in un intimo e
coinvolgente happening per
un pubblico che vuole divertirsi fino alle ultime note.

come il nome suggerisce, darà
spazio all’incontro tra di loro e
toccherà quindi il Country
Blues Acustico e il Country Alternativo in un viaggio che porta dal Blues al Bop.
