Perché nasce la newsletter della Sir Safety System?
“Perché ho sentito il bisogno di trasmettere
all’esterno sia ai clienti che agli utenti tutto quanto
c’è dietro un semplice prodotto che esce
sul mercato. Soprattutto negli indumenti di protezione,
che sembrano normali capi di abbigliamento,
c’è uno studio molto approfondito in fase
progettuale che deve tener conto di ulteriori fattori
prestazionali che deve garantire il capo, come
ad esempio l’ergonomia o piuttosto la particolare
protezione che deve assicurare in un determinato
ambiente lavorativo”.
Cosa rappresenta la linea Airblock
per la Sir Safety System?
“Per l’azienda rappresenta un elemento
di supremazia sugli altri, un sistema evolutivo
che altrove non si trova. La linea Airblock
è proprio il classico esempio di come si evolve
nel tempo un prodotto di sicurezza gestito
con la nostra mentalità”.
Parliamo allora della mentalità Sir Safety System.
“Nel nostro modo di pensare si fondono due
componenti. La prima è quella molla che stimola
l’animo di un imprenditore, che è la voglia
di primeggiare e di fare le cose meglio degli altri.
Il secondo componente, diciamo così, è l’amore
con cui facciamo le cose, l’amore nel creare
nuovi prodotti che servono a migliorare la vita
sul lavoro. Di tale miglioramento nel nostro
sistema se ne sente un gran bisogno,
specialmente per chi è impegnato in settori
produttivi particolarmente a rischio, vedi quello
edilizio o chimico. La nostra mentalità è quella
di creare un mondo migliore soprattutto per chi fa
un lavoro ancora pericoloso e di renderlo sicuro
come quello di chi è magari impiegato in un ufficio
o in un reparto meno a rischio.
Per noi questo concetto è molto importante perché
abbiamo la consapevolezza di far del bene a chi
indirettamente ogni giorno lavora anche per noi
e ciò ci spinge a continuare su questa strada
a testa alta”.

“Ci vuole determinazione, un termine che si traduce
con il connubio tra passione, cioè volontà di fare

“I felt the need to transmit to the outside world, both to our
clients as well as the end-users how much there is behind
a single product that enters the market. Especially when
it comes to safety-wear. They may seem normal pieces
of garments, but there is a very detailed study behind them,
keeping in mind that they have to guarantee further
performances, like ergonomics or a special kind of protection
under particular circumstances”.
What does the Airblock range represent to Sir Safety System?
“It means supremacy for the company, an evolutionary
innovation that you can not find anywhere else. The Airblock
range is a classic example of the evolution of protective
equipment when it is done with our mentality”.

“There are two elements in our way of thinking. The first
one is that spur that stimulates the mind of an entrepreneur,

Tutte le calzature Airblock sono dotate
di certificazione HRO, requisito aggiuntivo
della suola in fatto di resistenza al calore
da contatto superiore ai 300°C che dona

di calore. Grazie al battistrada in gomma nitrilica
e ad una suola in materiale EVA-TPU-GOMMA,
Airblock è studiata per resistere ad acidi

e alta flessibilità. La scolpitura del battistrada
è estremamente capillare, realizzata con particolari
linee geometriche asimmetriche che creano
un “effetto spatola” in grado di drenare l’acqua

DI SICUREZZA S1P (calzatura con i requisiti di sicurezza
base + zona del tallone chiusa, proprietà antistatiche,
assorbimento di energia nella zona del tallone,
resistenza agli idrocarburi della suola

intersuola con lamina d’acciaio) per giungere
in determinati articoli alla categoria di sicurezza

grazie al nuovo puntale in fibra di vetro
che sostituisce il nostro puntale standard
in acciaio, ed alla nuova lamina più flessibile,
che rimpiazza la nostra lamina standard
in acciaio. Inoltre hanno un aspetto di gran lunga
migliore rispetto alle tradizionali scarpe di sicurezza
scure, sono confortevoli e dispongono di un’ampia
calzata. I nostri dipendenti rimangono in piedi
di fronte ai loro banchi di lavoro per molte ore
e le scarpe che avevamo in passato erano
scomode, sebbene gli operatori stessero in piedi
su una stuoia defaticante. Ma da quando
utilizziamo le Airblock, stiamo addirittura
valutando se la stuoia defaticante sia ancora
necessaria. L’aspetto che mi ha colpito
maggiormente di queste calzature è il design,
moderno e vivacemente colorato, tanto che
le Airblock sembrano più una scarpa da ginnastica
che di sicurezza, come hanno testimoniato
i nostri dipendenti. Personalmente preferisco
il modello Prisma: elegante, leggera,
confortevole, sicura ed anche idrorepellente.
We’ve chosen the Airblock series because it is much lighter
thanks to the new glass fibre toe-cap that replaces our
standard toe-cap and to the new more flexible midsole that
replaces our standard steel midsole. Moreover they have
a look which is much better that the traditional dark safety
shoes. They are comfortable and have a wide fitting.
Our workers stand in front of their working table for many
hours during the day and the shoes we had in the past were
very uncomfortable even if the workers were standing
on an anti-fatigue mat. Since when we are using the Airblock
footwear, we are considering if the use of the anti-fatigue
mat is still necessary. I was really surprised by the modern
and colourful design of these shoes. The Airblock footwear
look like sport shoes rather than safety shoes, as testified
by our workers. Personally, I prefer the Prisma model:
elegant, light, comfortable, safe and water-repellent.

Vanno benissimo in ogni situazione, sono
molto morbide e calzano in maniera perfetta.
Insomma, sono decisamente comode.
Prima con i precedenti modelli di altre marche
non riuscivo a camminare così bene come ora
durante la mia attività lavorativa. Per questo
motivo la differenza maggiore che noto rispetto
al passato è che ora mi sembra di indossare
delle vere scarpe da ginnastica, anche se so
benissimo di avere ai piedi tutte le migliori
caratteristiche di una scarpa da lavoro.
Inoltre durante l’attività lavorativa mi sento meno
stressato e più pronto al lavoro, ma la sensazione
bellissima la provo tornando a casa, perché
non ho più mal di schiena e mi sento molto meno
affaticato rispetto a prima. Insomma, posso dirlo
senza ombra di dubbio: le calzature Airblock ai piedi ti aiutano a lavorare meglio!
My Airblock Ramada shoes in blue colour are really
extraordinary. They are right for every occasion, they are
soft and have a perfect fitting. In short, they are really
comfortable. First, with the previous models of the other
brands I could not walk as well as today during work.
That is the reason why the biggest difference I notice
in comparison with the past, is that now it seems that I’m
wearing real sport shoes even if I know very well that I have
all the better features of a safety shoe on my feet.
Moreover, during work I feel less stressed and much more
prepared to work and when I’m back at home I experience
a beautiful sensation because I have no more backaches
and I’m less tired than before. In short, it is beyond doubt

PROGETTAZIONE
PRODUZIONE
La “catena di montaggio” della Sir Safety System
parte dalla progettazione dei prodotti. Seguendo
le normative di riferimento a livello europeo,
vengono creati prodotti sempre innovativi conformi
a norma di legge, funzionali al loro scopo e dotati
di una design unico. La ricerca e lo sviluppo
di nuovi materiali o di nuove soluzioni per aumentare
comfort e sicurezza piuttosto che di nuove linee,
nascono tutte all’interno della Sir grazie ad un lavoro
capillare svolto da uno staff specializzato.
Passaggio seguente è la realizzazione dei prodotti.
Nei vari reparti produttivi interni all’azienda “nascono”
gli indumenti protettivi, tutti testati in base alla loro
funzionalità ed alle loro caratteristiche.
Infatti la gestione della produzione di indumenti
antinfortunistici e da lavoro è in accordo al sistema
di qualità certificato dalla UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.

PRODUCTION. The next step is the manufactoring
of the products. In the various departments of the company
we “give birth” to all the safety garments that are tested

The european standards concerning footwear are the
UNI EN ISO 20344:2008 (provision of reference that
establishes the testing methods to verify the compliance
with the requirements of the professional use footwear)
and the three specifications UNI EN ISO 20345:2008
(concerning the high protection shoes with a toe-cap
protecting the toes against impacts of up to 200 joule force
and against deflection risks with a maximum force
of 1500 dan), UNI EN ISO 20346:2008 (concerning the low
protection shoes with a toe-cap tested to 100 joule),
UNI EN ISO 20347:2008 (concerning the no safety shoes
without toe protection and puncture resistance. The regulations
replace the old reference standard. On the basis of the
shoes’ features there is a specific safety cathegory
(as you can see from the summarizing chart).
The requirements established by the regulation regarding
the non-slip outsole (SRA, SRB and SRC) and the new
configuration regarding the absence of azoic dyestuff
and the presence of chrome VI in the leather are important
passages of the provision. In fact, the provision specify
that the presence of the chrome VI in the upper, in the lining,
in the tongue and in the insole has not to be detectable
(the chrome VI contents is considered to be undetectable
when it is inferior to 10mg/kg).

La Sir Safety System ha recentemente siglato un importante
accordo biennale con il gruppo RONTANI, noto brand per
la produzione di stivali safety e no safety, per la distribuzione
in via esclusiva dei propri prodotti in Germania. Tale accordo
ha lo scopo di intensificare la presenza nel mercato e nel
territorio tedesco in particolare e di tutto il Nord Europa
in generale, dei prodotti con marchio Sir.

Si è svolta dal 3 al 6 novembre a Dusseldorf in Germania
la fiera internazionale sulla sicurezza “A+A”, la più importante
manifestazione al mondo riguardante prodotti e indumenti
antinfortunistici. La fiera si svolge ogni due anni, conta i più
importanti espositori del mercato mondiale ed ha visto la Sir
Safety System presente per la terza volta.
Le normative europee in tema di calzature sono
la UNI EN ISO 20344:2008 (testo di riferimento
che stabilisce i metodi di prova per verificare
la conformità ai requisiti della calzature per uso
professionale) e le tre specificazioni UNI EN ISO
20345:2008 (che riguarda le calzature
di sicurezza di massima protezione con puntale
di protezione delle dita dei piedi che protegge
contro urti con energia pari a 200 Joule e rischi
di schiacciamento con forza massima di 1500
