Askoll, azienda vicentina nata nel 1978, è divenuta leader nel campo della componentistica
elettromeccanica sviluppando la tecnologia dei motori sincroni e applicandola a diversi settori
produttivi. La sua specializzazione in aree di business differenziate, tutte altamente tecniche, le
ha permesso di acquisire un forte know-how sia di prodotto sia di processo.
Askoll produce pompe e filtri per acquari, filtri per piscine, pompe di scarico e motori elettrici
per elettrodomestici, ma anche le attrezzature, i macchinari e le linee robotizzate necessarie
alla loro produzione. Questa profonda esperienza nello sviluppo di linee di automazione, unita
ad un amore genuino per gli animali, ha spinto Askoll a progettare e sviluppare la linea di tapis
roulant Equus.
La fase di progettazione dei tapis roulant ha visto il coinvolgimento degli utilizzatori oltre che la
collaborazione di eminenti veterinari.

Askoll produces aquariums, pumps and filters for pools and ponds, components for household
appliance but also the machines and the assembly lines necessary for their production.
The deep experience in the industrial automation field, linked to a true love for animals, brought
to the conception of the Equus treadmills.
The treadmills design phase involved the cooperation of users, as well as of renowned
veterinarians.

While on the walker it’s difficult to force the horse to keep the pace, on the treadmill the horse is
forced to maintain the speed decided by the trainer; its joints work on a straight line so that all its

Sono presenti 3 circuiti indipendenti gestiti
da valvole comandate direttamente dal PLC:
• circuito di carico dal serbatoio alla vasca di
allenamento
• circuito di filtrazione durante lo scarico
• circuito di dosatura cloro e pH
Esiste inoltre un sistema di scarico rapido
manuale che, in caso di necessità, permette
di svuotare la vasca in pochi secondi
Particolare attenzione è stata rivolta anche
a chi giornalmente deve utilizzare questa
attrezzatura:

It’s ideal for the recovery and training of horses suffering from
trauma or very tiring training.
Benefits of walking are joined
with the positive effects of water:
• a constant massage at a controlled
temperature: improvement of circulation,
antiphlogistic and analgesic effect
• gravity force attenuation: ankle, knee and
spine are protected from negative effects of

Settings
The system is managed through a
Programming Logic Controller (PLC). It is a
control system which allows to set, by means of
a control panel:

• simplifying the use of the system through the

The storage and filtration system is very compact; it
