Cari atleti, allenatori, maestri, presidenti,
sono felice di invitarvi al Torneo Bestfighter 2007. Gli anni passano veloci e siamo giunti alla nostra dodicesima edizione;
dopo l’esperienza dell’anno scorso, ci riproponiamo nella splendida location di
Salsomaggiore Terme e del suo bellissimo Palasport. Con la possibilità di ospitare
comodamente ben 12 aree di gara (10 tatami e 2 ring) nello stesso padiglione,
abbiamo trovato la sistemazione ideale per la condurre la nostra gara. Pensate che
pur con l’aumento dei partecipanti, nell’ultima edizione ben 1750, le competizioni
sono finite con un po’ di anticipo rispetto agli anni precedenti. Le novità tecniche:
abbiamo ascoltato i vostri consigli vi presentiamo alcune belle novità: dopo la positiva
esperienza dell’anno scorso, abbiamo aggiunto la gara a squadre anche per la
categoria cadetti (dai 10 ai 12 anni); anche queste squadre dovranno essere formate
da tre maschi e da una femmina, proprio come quelle degli adulti. Sono state aggiunte
anche le classe “donne cinture basse”, sia nel semi-contact che nel light-contact. Gianfranco Rizzi with Adriano Passaro

molti atleti e amici. Il montepremi in denaro, tornato ad essere il più ricco d’Europa
è stato riconfermato a ben 10.200,00 euro in contanti, suddivisi come da programma. Non Perdete l’occasione di
essere protagonisti del più grande evento wako dell’anno.
Dear fighters, coaches, trainers, presidents,
I am glad to invite all of you to the 2007 edition of the Bestfighter Tournament. Years pass by, and we have come to
our twelfth edition; after the 2006 experiment, we will once again welcome you at the amazing location of Salsomaggiore
Terme with its wonderful Sporting Palace. Being now able to up 12 competition areas (10 tatamis and 2 rings) in the
same hall, we have eventually found the optimal setting for our incredible competition. This has allowed us to close
last year edition a little earlier than the previous ones in spite of the continually growing number of fighters–which
tapped in 2006 the astonishing new record of 1.750!
On the technical side, your very comments led us to bring some novelties. Given the success encountered last year
by the Cadets Team competition, we have confirmed it this year as well: each team shall contain three boys and a girl,
exactly as the senior teams. We will also have each female competition split in two on a belt basis, exactly as it already
happens in the male competitions. Last but not least, the much awaited “over 35” semi-contact tournament will debut,
which many of you have asked for. And yes, the money prize climbs back to the top of the European table with its
10,200 euros cash, distributed according to the official programme. Don’t miss the opportunity to become a
protagonist of he biggest WAKO event of the year!
