workhouses). From what you have read, say which devices the author uses to make this denunciation
effective.

sensations?
3. Why did R. L. Stevenson choose the name of “Mr. Hyde” for the alter-ego of the protagonist of the
novel “The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”? Explain also referring to the main theme of
the novel.
