Chiarimenti sul Regolamento 2012
Shooting Gloves
There is currently no reference to gloves in the rule book. The rule clarification
committee feels there is no competitive advantage to be gained by allowing gloves to be
worn while shooting IDPA. Shooting gloves without any material on the trigger finger
would not cause a safety issue. The committee ruled to allow gloves with an exposed
trigger finger as not to compromise safety concerns of gloves with oversized fingers.
Whether other clothing could be a competitive advantage or not is much less clear at this
time. Thus this rule is only for gloves and only until the Equipment Tiger Team examines
all clothing-related equipment suitability for IDPA. This rule clarification could change at
that time.
Attualmente non esiste sul Regolamento un riferimento ai guanti. La commissione per i
chiarimenti sul Regolamento si sente di pronunciare che non si aggiunge alcun vantaggio
portando i guanti quando si spara in IDPA. Guanti da tiro che non riportano materiale all'indice
non sono da considerare un problema di sicurezza. La commissione ha quindi deliberato che
è permesso l'uso di guanti che lasciano il dito indice esposto e che non riportano in esso
materiale da rinforzo che potrebbe compromettere l'azione di trazione del griletto. Questa
regola riguarda solo i guanti e questo fintanto che il Tiger Team dell'Equipaggiamento non si
pronuncerà su quale tipo di abbigliamento può dare vantaggio competitivo o meno. Questa
regola (per i guanti) potrebbe cambiare in qualsiasi momento.
