Lunghezza: 21,5 km Tempo di percorrenza: 8 ore circa Tempo di percorrenza in verso contrario: ore 10 Dislivello: in salita 500 metri; in discesa 1800 metri Punti d’appoggio attrezzati: bivacco Campel – bivacco Monsur – albergo Firi Punti d’appoggio non attrezzati lungo il percorso: malga Cap Sentieri: bivacco Campel- passo Rango SAT O450 (E)/ passo Rango – monte Stigolo SAT O458 (E)/ monte Stigolo – bivacco Monsur / bivacco Monsur-Terramonte / Terramonte – Storo SAT O467 (E) The first stop begins in Storo locality “alle Piane” and arrives to Passo Tremalzo (Tremalzo Pass) and the Rifugio Garda for the overnight stop-over. The itinerary goes across places like Nar, Spessa and reaches the Mount Alpo of Storo and Bondone, proceeding to Passo Caplone (Caplone Pass), Malga Tombea, Bocca Lorina (Mouth Lorina), Cima Fratone (Fratone Peak), prati di Lavino (meadows of Lavino) and finally the Rifugio Garda. Being a very long route, there is the possibility to divide it into two parts, spending the night at the bivouac Malga Alpo. At the adjacent alpine hut, Malga Alpo of Storo, during pasture from June to September, you can even enjoy an “alpine snack” with cheese and other products made on the spot. Travel time: 10 hrs (8 hrs starting from the bivouac Alpo) Travel time backwards: 8 hrs Length: 27 km Altitude difference (uphill): 2000 m Altitude difference (downhill): 700 m Equipped refreshment points: Hotel Firi, Bivouac Malga Alpo (6 beds), Rifugio Garda Unequipped refreshment points on the route: Malga Tombea, Malga Lorina Paths: SAT O444 (at Cima Fratone -Fratone Peak- there is a short stretch with a peg ladder) STAGE #2: TREMALZO – BIVOUAC ARCIONI STAGE #3 BIVOUAC ARCIONI – RIFUGIO PERNICI STOP #4: RIFUGIO PERNICI – BIVOUAC MALGA CAMPEL STOP #5 BIVOUAC CAMPEL – STORO ETAPPE 1: STORO–TREMALZO ETAPPE 2: TREMALZO–BIVACCO ARCIONI Etappe 4: Rifugio Pernici–Malga Bivacco Campel Etappe 5: Bivacco Campel–Storo STAGE #1: STORO – TREMALZO Ausgangspunkt der ersten Etappe ist Storo, Ortsteil „alle Piane“. Gehzeit: 10 Std. (8 Stunden vom Bivacco Alpo) Gehzeit in der anderen Richtung: 8 Std. Länge: 27 km Höhenunterschied beim Aufstieg: 2000 m Höhenunterschied beim Abstieg: 700 m Eingerichtete Raststellen: Albergo Firi, Bivacco Malga Alpo (das Biwak verfügt über 6 Schlafplätze), Rifugio Garda Raststellen ohne Einrichtungen an der Strecke: Malga Tombea, Malga Lorina Wege: SAT-Wanderweg O444 (und ein kurzes Stück auf dem Cima Fratone über eine Sprossenleiter) From Rifugio Garda we take off headed for the village of Biacesa and the bivouac Arcioni for the overnight. This stop is the most affected by the influence of the mild climate coming from the Lake Garda. This area is interesting from the historical point of view for the presence of the First World War Italian military cemetery at Passo Nota (Nota Pass) and from the naturalistic point of view because Bocca di Casèt (Mouth of Casèt) is one of the passages crossed by autumn migrations. Travel time: approximately 8 hrs Travel time backwards: approximately 10 hrs Length: 23 km Altitude difference (uphill): 600 m Altitude difference (downhill): 1400 m Equipped refreshment points: Rifugio Garda, Bivouac Arcioni (the bivouac kitchen is open but bedrooms are closed. Gehzeit: zirka 8 Std. Gehzeit in der anderen Richtung: zirka 10 Std. From the Bivouac Arcioni we proceed to the panoramic Rifugio Pernici, place of the overnight stop-over. This stage gives the chance to go through interesting and rich zones in terms of biodiversity. Bocca Giumella (Mouth Giumella) is a crossing frequently visited by migratory birds during the journey heading South. Furthermore on high altitudes the wide meadows show an extraordinary blooming season, meanwhile during Autumn the view enjoyed from the Rifugio Pernici takes on outstanding shades. During the route, if you keep an eye on the rocks, you might see fossils from the marine past nestled through the rocky layers. From Rifugio Pernici, the itinerary proceeds towards the Dosso della Torta, then Cima Cadria (Cadria Peak - the highest point of the whole route) and Malga Cadria. This is the most demanding stretch of the entire trekking, it requires a certain degree of general fitness as it has some tiring pitches, which need to be done with care. From Malga Cadria we proceed towards Località Pozza (Pozza Place) and finally to bivouac Campel for the overnight staying. The Sentiero della Pace (Path of Peace) passes along the route from Rifugio Pernici to Mount Cadria. The whole route doesn’t offer any chance of water refill, there is just a fountain at the bivouac Campel.
