FAR radiator valves
Le valvole e i detentori FAR sono adatti all'uso sui terminali degli
impianti di riscaldamento e climatizzazione.
I corpi valvola, realizzati in ottone CW617N UNI EN 12165, sono progettati per avere ampi passaggi e ridotte perdite di carico.

FAR valves and lock-shields valves are suitable for use in both heating and air-conditioning systems. Valve bodies, made of CW617N
UNI EN 12165 brass, are designed for large internal volume and low
flow resistance. Innovation, reliability and simplicity in assembly and
maintenance are the key features of our range.

Sono disponibili in versione diritta e a squadra, con attacco intercambiabile FAR oppure con attacco ferro, nelle misure da 3/8" a 1"
a seconda della tipologia.
Valves can be straight or L-shaped, with a choice of FAR interchangeable or iron pipe connections. Units are available in 3/8" and 1"
sizes.
Oltre alle valvole normali, la FAR produce una serie di valvole termostatizzabili particolari "salvaspazio" adatte a risolvere i problemi di
installazione in spazi ristretti.
In addition to standard valves, FAR produces special "spacesaver"
thermostatic valves - so called because they are designed for easy
installation where space is limited.

I codoli, realizzati con filetti conici, sono preguarniti con una particolare pellicola morbida
che garantisce la tenuta, su filettature a norma, senza l'uso di altri metodi di guarnitura.
All'occorrenza è comunque possibile applicare direttamente sopra alla pellicola i normali
sistemi di tenuta (canapa, nastro in PTFE, ecc.).
Terminals, made of conical threads, feature a special soft adhesive which guarantees a good
seal on standard threads without the need for other types of gaskets. However, it is possible
to apply the normal sealing systems - hemp, PTFE, etc - directly onto the adhesive.
Una sede in resina HPF tra codolo e corpo valvola assicura una tenuta affidabile e duratura nel tempo.
An HPF resin seat between terminal and the valve body guarantees a reliable and lasting seal.
Comando termostatico e termoelettrico
Thermostatic and thermoelectric head
Sulle valvole termostatizzabili FAR è possibile montare la testa termostatica oppure una testina elettrotermica che ne comandi l'apertura o la chiusura.
Svitare il volantino bianco (1), infilare l'apposito cilindretto verde sul
perno inox (2) e riavvitare il volantino. In questo modo è possibile
asportare volantino e canotto(3) senza danneggiarli per poter installare poi la testina prescelta.
La testina termostatica FAR è dotata di un sensore a liquido incorporato che sente le variazioni di temperatura dell'ambiente e apre e
chiude la valvola di conseguenza.
The FAR thermostatic head has a built-in liquid sensor, which detects
temperature changes and opens or closes the valve accordingly.
E' provvista di un selettore numerato da 1 a 5, ruotando il quale, è
possibile impostare il livello di temperatura desiderato. La posizione
0 consente la chiusura della valvola mentre quella corrisponde alla
protezione antigelo.
It has a regulation scale numbered from 1 to 5. It is, therefore,
possible to choose the desired temperature. Position 0 indicates
closing of valve while the position provides antifreeze protection.

Utilizzando le due levette presenti all'esterno della testina è possibile limitare la corsa del selettore oppure bloccarlo in una determinata posizione.
By using the two levers situated on the exterior of the head, it is
possible to limit the movement of the selector, or stop it in the
desired position.
It is possible to fit either a thermostatic head, or a thermo-electric
head on FAR thermostatic valves to control opening and closing.
Unscrew the white manual regulating valve (1), insert the green joint
provided on the stainless steel pin (2) and screw the manual regulating valve once again. In this way it is possible to remove the manual
regulating valve and the joint (3) without damaging them and then set
up the selected head.

Per installare la testina termostatica FAR è necessario portare il
selettore sul 5, incastrare la testina sul corpo valvola e avvitare la
ghiera in plastica di bloccaggio.
In order to set up the FAR thermostatic head it is necessary that the
selector be set to position 5. Fix the head on valve body and screw
the plastic locking ring.
Le testine elettrotermiche FAR sono disponibili normalmente aperte
o normalmente chiuse con due diverse tensioni da alimentazione
24V e 230V.
FAR thermo-electric heads are normally open, or closed by either a
24V or 230V signal .

Per l'installazione della testina elettrotermica è necessario avvitare sulla
valvola l'apposito adattatore e successivamente procedere al montaggio.
To install thermo-electric actuator you have to screw the provided
adapter onto the valve and then start assembly.

Valvole LadyFar
LadyFAR valves
Per soddisfare le esigenze di chi cerca una valvola d'arredo, FAR ha
realizzato una serie di valvole termostatizzabili e detentori detta
"LadyFAR" con finiture particolarmente curate. Sono disponibili nelle
colorazioni: cromo, bianco-cromo, ottone e bianco-ottone.
Per l'utilizzo con i termoarredatori è stata creata una particolare linea
cromata composta da valvola detentore e rosone.
For situations where a finishing touch is required, FAR has created
the "LadyFAR" range of thermostatic valves and lock-shied valves,
which are finished with a touch of class. They are available in the
following versions: chrome-plated, white chrome-plated, brass and
white brass. A special range of chrome-plated lock-shield valve and
rosette has also been developed to match these finishes.
