Itinerary
Day 1: Catania – Palma di Montechiaro
Upon arrival at the airport of Catania you will have a private transfer to Palma di Montechiaro and you will be
settled in at your hotel. Free time and overnight.

Day 2: Palma di Montechiaro – Licata – Palma di Montechiaro
Breakfast. In the morning you will be transferred to Licata where you will attend a cooking lesson at Pino
Cuttaia’s cooking school “Uovo di seppia”. At the end of the lesson you will have lunch with the recipes you
worked on.
After lunch you will attend the second part of the lesson. Upon request you can stay in the area and have dinner
at Pino Cuttaia’s starred Michelin restaurant “La Madia”. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3: Palma di Montechiaro - Agrigento
Breakfast. At pre-set time you will be transferred to Agrigento, the Sicilian town famous for “Valle dei Templi”,
the archaeological site declared as World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997. Upon your arrival you will be settled
in at Hotel Villa Athena. This hotel, surrounded by the green hills of the Temples Valley, is located few steps
from the archaeological Park entrance. Check-in in assigned rooms and free time to relax.

Day 4: Agrigento
Breakfast. Day at leisure. We suggest to take the chance to visit the archaeological site, a popular touristic
attraction and a symbol of the town. The site hold a number of important Doric temples dating back to the
Hellenic period.

Day 5: Agrigento - Sciacca
Breakfast at the hotel. At pre-set time you will be transferred to Sciacca, a municipality in the province of
Agrigento. Sciacca has a lot to offer: sea, spa, monuments, churches and its famous traditional Carnival.
You will be settled in at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort. Laying on 230 hectar of beautiful landscape and with 1.8

Day 7: Sciacca – Mazara del Vallo
Breakfast at the hotel. At pre-set time you will be transferred to Mazara del Vallo whose historic centre, once
enclosed within Normans walls, holds a lot of monumental churches. Upon your arrival you will be settled in at
Giardino di Costanza Resort. It is one of the first “Leading Hotels of the World” in Sicily, the first “Kempinski”

Day 8: Mazara del Vallo
Breakfast at the hotel. Guests will have free day to enjoy the resort’s amenities, to relax on the beach or to

Day 9: Mazara del Vallo - Palermo
Breakfast at the hotel. At pre-set time you will be transferred to Palermo, the marvelous Sicily state capital. You

Day 10: Palermo
Breakfast at the hotel. You will have the whole day at your disposal to visit this wonderful town on your own.
Among its monuments the most relevant are: The Normans Palace, the Sicilian parliament seat; the Cathedral,
where Federico II and Ruggero II sarcophagus are preserved; Porta Nuova built in 1583; Vucciria, Ballarò and Il
Capo historical markets and many other churches and palaces. The most important natural areas are: Monte
Pellegrino and Foro Italico.
