masi represents italy at the vancouver wine festival
Masi was one of the leading players at the recent Vancouver
International Wine Festival, one of North America’s
greatest wine events. This year Raffaele Boscaini, from
the seventh generation of Masi’s owning family, had the
prestigious task of representing the Italian wine sector
and the territory of the Venetian regions with the opening
speech. The company’s wines were present in a good six of
the seminars and brought Masi Expertise to the fore, with
the wines that are its invention.
Every year at this wine festival the spotlight is turned
on a different country. This time in 2016 it was Italy,
represented by Masi because of its place as Canada’s
primary Italian wine brand. Canada is, in fact, Masi’s most

important market and the Masi brands here are among the
few really famous international brands to be represented.
In his opening speech Raffaele Boscaini commented on
the increase in exports for Italian wines in recent years,
thanks to an ever greater appreciation on the part of
foreigners of the country and the “Italian Lifestyle” of its
products, especially in the food sector.
Boscaini was also able to give advance notice of the
surprising news that, according to official data from
the Ministry of Agriculture, Italian production in 2015
superseded 49,500,000 hectolitres, making it the biggest
producer in the world by a long way, compared to even the
most optimistic previous harvest forecasts

masi at ferrari’s
Masi wines were the toast of the evening at the “Red Carpet”
exhibition’s inaugural gala dinner held at MEF - Enzo Ferrari
Museum in Modena. This wonderful exhibition pays tribute
to movies that have seen Ferraris portrayed as idols through
the ages. Guests at the exclusive opening dinner enjoyed the
evening surrounded by cars such as the 250 Cabriolet used
by Marilyn Monroe, the 275 America used by Sophia Loren,
the Magnum P.I. 308 GTS and the Miami Vice Testarossa.
Films with Ferraris in starring roles were projected all around
them. Among the many stars of the event, our wines stood out
too: Rosa dei Masi, Conti Bossi Fedrigotti Vign’Asmara and
Mezzanella Recioto... Here’s to the best of “Made in Italy”!
