Start to make the antenna from the base, by
screwing together all sections, as shown on the
picture on the left.
Fix the antenna and connect the wire radials
included in the box, in order to work on 40 m. It is
advisable to add one 10 m long wire radial whereas
a 20 m one for the 80 m band.
Use “at least” 5 m of coax cable between the
antenna and the RTX.
Use the coil of 80 m band “ONLY” if you want to
work on the above metioned frequency; on all other
frequencies do NOT fix the 80 meter band coil.
To use the antenna on 2 m (144 ÷ 146 MHz), all
the advanced styles (N° 4 styles) are to be
removed and the entire flowing tube is to be
lowered.
In order to use the antenna in 50 MHz, remove
TWO advanced styles and lower the entire flowing
tube, leaving a space of 1 or 2 mm between the coil
and 2 flowing tubes (approximately ½ link on
sight).

desired adjustment.

Tubo scorrevole
Montare l’antenna partendo dalla base, avvitare a
mano gli stili come mostrato nella figura.
Fissare l’antenna e collegare i radiali di 4 metri
forniti, per operare in 40 m. si consiglia di
aggiungere un radiale in filo da 10 metri; mentre
per gli 80 m. aggiungerne uno di 20 m.
Collegare “almeno” 5 metri di cavo coassiale tra
l’antenna e l’RTX.
Montare la bobina degli 80 metri “SOLO” se si
vuole operare su questa frequenza; in tutte le altre
frequenze la bobina degli 80 metri non va montata.
Per utilizzare l’antenna in due metri (144 ÷ 146
MHz), togliere tutti gli stili superiori (N° 4 stili) ed
abbassare tutto il tubo scorrevole.
Per utilizzare l’antenna in 50 MHz togliere DUE stili
superiori ed abbassare tutto il tubo scorrevole,
lasciando tra la bobina ed il tubo scorrevole 1 o 2
mm. (circa ½ spira a vista).
