La storia
I veicoli moderni al giorno d’oggi usano molti sistemi controllati da computer, dall'accensione degli indicatori
al controllo della prestazione del motore. Tra questi sistemi c'è anche il sistema di sicurezza della macchina.
Quando un rivenditore autorizzato ha bisogno di investigare un problema, un equipaggiamento specializzato
può essere connesso alla porta OBD della macchina per mandare e ricevere informazioni elettroniche. La
sigla OBD sta per On Board Diagnostic (cioè Diagnostica a bordo) ed è uno strumento molto valido nelle
mani giuste e fidate. Tuttavia la stessa tecnologia adesso è disponibile per tutti coloro che sanno dove
guardare e può essere usata per propositi meno legittimi.
ATTENZIONE!
Criminali organizzati stanno usando tecnologia OBD per rubare la tua macchina. Tutto ciò che serve è un
pezzo di elettronica a basso prezzo che fa girare un software per clonare le chiavi. La tua gioia ed il tuo
orgoglio se ne vanno in pochi secondi, forse per non essere mai più visti.

Che cosa è?
Lo OBD Blocker (cioè il blocco OBD) semplicemente blocca comunicazioni non autorizzate attraverso la
porta OBD al tuo veicolo. Questo aiuta a prevenire la riprogrammazione delle chiavi o altre attività non
autorizzate.
Come viene installato?
Lo OBD Blocker è costituito da una coppia corrispondente: una piccola chiavetta di attivazione che viene
attaccata al tuo portachiavi per una accesso veloce ed un modulo che è attaccato fermamente al connettore
OBD esistente nella macchina.
Come funziona?
Pensa al Blocker come ad un interruttore. Senza la chiavetta di attivazione corrispondente l’interruttore è
spento, bloccando così accessi non autorizzati nella macchina. Per permetter accesso la chiavetta di
attivazione va messa sul modulo e l’interruttore si accenderà’.
Quando sarà necessaria la chiavetta di attivazione?
L’unico momento in cui la chiavetta di attivazione è necessaria è quando si porta la macchina al garage per
riparazioni, controlli o per un servizio di soccorso stradale tipo AA.

OPERAZIONE DELL OBD BLOCKER ACCENSIONE DELL’OBD BLOCKER Adesso il Blocker può operare con una delle chiave^e di abvazione RFID programmate. Per perme^er ad un garage o un servizio di soccorso stradale di accedere alla tua macchina, semplicemente meb la chiave^a di abvazione temporaneamente contro il Blocker. La luce VERDE si illuminerà per mostrare che il Blocker ha permesso la comunicazione per 1 ora. Se è necessaria una durata maggiore, lasciare la carta nel Blocker fino a che il lavoro è stato terminato. Rimarrà acceso per tu^o il tempo in cui la carta è inserita. IMPORTANTE: Non dimenVcare di informare il garage/ servizio stradale che la tua macchina è prote^a dall’OBD Blocker e di informarli della procedura descri^a sopra. Tenere una chiave^a di abvazione nel proprio portachiavi, ma rimuoverla sempre quando la macchina è fuori con le tue chiavi (cioè per servizio di parcheggio o per altro lavoro sul veicolo etc.). PROGRAMMAZIONE DI CHIAVETTE DI ATTIVAZIONE NUOVE Se si è perduta una chiave^a di abvazione o si ha bisogno di programmare una sosVtuzione, seguire la procedura descri^a so^o: SE TUTTE LE CHIAVETTE DI ATTIVAZIONE SONO STATE PERDUTE 1.  Inserire la chiave^a di abvazione nella fessura dell’ OBD Blocker, la LUCE ROSSA lampeggerà. Dopo 30 minuV la LUCE ROSSA cambierà a VERDE quando programmata. 2.  Rimuovere la prima targhe^a ed inserire la seconda. La LUCE ROSSA lampeggerà per 30 minuV e cambierà a VERDE quando programmata. UNA CHIAVETTA DI ATTIVAZIONE PERDUTA 1.  Inserire la chiave^a di abvazione che funziona dentro lo OBD Blocker, la luce si accenderà VERDE. 2.  Rimuovere la prima chiave^a di abvazione ed inserire quella nuova nello OBD Blocker. 3.  Il LED lampeggerà ROSSO per 30 minuV e cambierà a VERDE quando programmato.
