INVITED SPEAKERS
Research in epigenetics is growing at an increasing speed, with the
introduction of novel technologies that allow the interrogation of the
epigenome with unprecedented precision. We aim to discuss the latest
research regarding two key aspects of the chromatin: a) histone posttranslational modifications, and proteomic approaches for their study; b)
basic mechanisms of chromatin regulation in gene expression, with an
emphasis on the role of the Polycomb complex(es).
