A MONTH OF ITALIAN TOURISM IN THE UAE
ENIT Dubai, the Italian State Tourist Board based in the UAE, will launch a series of initiatives on the
occasion of the Italian Festival Weeks 2013, the biggest Italian festival in the GCC, with the objective of
promoting Italy as a tourist destination in the United Arab Emirates and increasing tourism flow from the
Gulf Region.
The various events will be particularly focused on the promotion of the Italian mountains and ENIT Dubai
will launch for the first time useful tools such as the Facebook Page Italian Tourism Office - ENIT Dubai /
‫ل ل س ياحة اإلي طال ية ال دول ة مج لس‬, the Skype account ‘Antenna ENIT Dubai’ (enit.dubai) and the new
application QR, which will support the office activities.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Culture – Fashion – Food – Sport
ENIT Dubai will promote Italy as a tourist destination during the main events of the IFW13, taking
advantage of the combination of culture - fashion – food – sport, Italian excellences increasing in vogue
in the world’s tourism trend. ENIT Dubai will have a stand with promotional brochures and videos and will
introduce the new tools of the office.

Italian Promotional Mission & Market Research
Tour Operators head offices, 10 - 17 November
ENIT Dubai will visit a series of Tour Operators in the UAE, promoting Italy as a tourist destination with
particular focus on the Italian mountains. On this occasion, ENIT will distribute promotional brochures
and videos, will introduce the new marketing tools and will carry out a tourism market research.

Training sessions for Emirates Holidays
Emirates Holidays head Office: 13th November
ENIT Dubai will hold two training sessions for the Emirates Holidays Agents through a Power Point
presentation rich of useful information on Italy, in order to acknowledge the famous TO’s travel agents.
‘Bel Paese’ presentation at Zayed University
Zayed University: 21st November
ENIT Dubai will hold a country presentation on tourism for the local students, with useful information on
the natural and cultural treasures and particular focus on the Italian mountains, with the aim of increasing
the awareness of Italy as a unique tourist destination.
Journalist Fam Trip to Cortina
Cortina d’Ampezzo: December
With the aim of promoting the Italian mountains, ENIT Dubai, in collaboration with Cortina Promozione,
will organize a Fam Trip to Cortina for Lonely Planet Traveller Middle East, with the aim of creating a six
page insert on the next edition of the famous tourist Magazine.
ENIT Dubai at Host Cities
Park Hyatt, Dubai: 4-5 December
ENIT Dubai will attend Host Cities 2013. Presented by Emirates, Host Cities is a two day summit where
industry leaders will cover topics from the Olympics to major international sporting events, expos and
festivals.
With the aim of increasing the ENIT Dubai’s network, representatives will also take part in the major
events of the Italian Festival Weeks 2013.
The 7th edition of the Italian Festival Weeks 2013 is organized by the Italian Industry & Commerce Office
in the UAE, under the auspices of of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, ENIT - the Italian
State Tourist Board and the Italian Embassy to the UAE and will be held between the 6th of November to
the 7th of December 2013 across various locations of the three main emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and
Sharjah.
