La nostra azienda impiega per le sue lavorazioni
esclusivamente “Teak Burma”, proveniente dalla
Birmania (attuale Myanmar), legname che per le sue
caratteristiche è il più adatto per l’impiego sulle navi.
Our Company uses exclusively “Teak Burma” for its
manufacturing: this timber comes from Burma (the
present Myanmar), and because of its properties it is
the most suitable to be employed on ships.
Il Teak, infatti, grazie alla sua notevole resistenza alle
intemperie (dovuta alla presenza di oleoresine nelle
cellule) e alla sua alta stabilità dimensionale anche in
caso di notevoli variazioni di umidità, viene oggi
impiegato non solo per l’arredamento ma anche per le
realizzazioni dei rivestimenti esterni delle navi senza
necessitare di alcun trattamento preservante.
Il Teak non si altera a contatto con viti e ferramenta, è
impermeabile e di aspetto piacevole e sobrio.
Thanks to its excellent weather-proof qualities (due to
the presence of oleoresin in its cells), and to its
dimensional stability even in presence of considerable
changes in the umidity level, today Teak is in fact
employed not only for furnishing but also for the
exterior facings of ships without the need of any
preserving treatment. Teak does not alter (deteriorate)
when used with screws and iron fittings, is waterproof and has a pleasant and sober appearance.
La nostra azienda acquista il legname in tronchi
(per produrre il tranciato) e in tavole che essicchiamo
naturalmente all’aperto prima di passare alle
lavorazioni.
Il Teak è una risorsa rinnovabile e l’utilizzo di legname
proveniente da piantagioni gestite favorisce uno
sviluppo sostenibile dei Paesi produttori contribuendo
alla salvaguardia del patrimonio boschivo mondiale.
Our Company buys logs of timber (to produce veneer)
and planks which we let dry naturally outside before
we start to work with them. Teak is a renewable
resource and the use of wood coming from managed
plantations favours a supporting development in the
producing Countries while contibuting to the
preservation of Earth’s woodlands resouces.
Il Teak (Tectona Grandis) venne importato in Europa
dalla Penisola Indiana (dove cresce la qualità migliore),
in particolare del Myanmar (ex Birmania) e dalla
Thailandia (ex Siam), già agli inizi dell’800, quando si
scoprirono le sue doti eccezionali per l’impiego
dell’industria navale.
Le zone più adatte alla produzione sono quelle pluviali,
dove si alternano sempre una stagione secca ad una
fortemente umida, fra i 10° ed il 25° di latitudine Nord,
ad altitudini che raggiungono spesso i 1.500 m.s.l.m.
Teak (Tectona Grandis) was imported in Europe from
the Indian Peninsula (where the best quality grows),
especially from Myanmar (forme Burma) and from
Thailand (former Siam), since the beginning of 1800,
following the discovery of its exceptional qualities for
the use in the naval industry.
The areas most suited for its production are the rain
regions, where a dry season is followed by a very wet
one, and they are located between the 10th and 25th
degree of latitude North, at altitudes often reaching
1,500 metres above sea level.

esperienza nel settore del legno unita ad
avanzate tecniche di lavorazione.
La scelta del tipo di Teak e la stagionatura
naturale ottimizzata per ogni tipo di prodotto
sono la prima garanzia della qualità finale della
nostra produzione.
Macchinari automatizzati e a controllo
numerico garantiscono precisione e qualità
costante nella lavorazione. Ogni dettaglio è

curato. La rifinitura è eseguita manualmente da
personale specializzato così come la
realizzazione di parti speciali, come i corrimano
curvi, e gli eventuali trattamenti protettivi
richiesti.
Tutti gli accessori in metallo vengono realizzati
su misura e con la nostra supervisione da
aziende specializzate.
Il controllo di qualità finale ci permette di
fornire prodotti pronti per la posa in opera senza
necessità di rettifiche o lavorazioni aggiuntive.
Il nostro ufficio, inoltre, è in grado di fornire il
supporto tecnico e l’assistenza necessaria per
soddisfare ogni esigenza dei progettisti mentre
la disponibilità di materia prima del nostro
magazzino ci mette in grado di far fronte a
qualsiasi ordine senza problemi di
approvvigionamento.
La nostra esperienza, unita a una costante
innovazione tecnologica e ad un alto grado di
specializzazione, sono il valore aggiunto dei
nostri prodotti che hanno nella qualità e nella
soddisfazione dei nostri Clienti e degli utenti
finali un obiettivo irrinunciabile.
Quality and transformation
The high quality of our manufacture product is
the result of solutions developed thanks to a
long experience in working with timber
together with advanced manufacturing
tecniques.
The choice of the type of Teak and the natural
seasoning most favorable for every type of
product are the first guarantees of the final
quality of our product.
Precision and constant quality in the lavoration
are achieved by using automatized machinery
with programmable machines every details is
looked after. Specialized personnel carries out
manually the finishing touches and the
execution of special parts, such as the curved
handrails, and the eventual protective
treatments required. All the metal accessories
are made to measure for us and with our
supervision by specialized companies.
The control over the final quality of our
products allows us to supply them ready to be
used without the need of any adjustments or
additional workings.
Furthermore our office can provide the technical
support and the necessary assistance to answer
the requirements of the designers, while the
availability of stock from our warehouse allows
us to meet any order without supplying
problems.
Our experience together with a constant
technological innovation and a high degree of
specialization, are the added values of our
products, whose unrelinquishable aim is their
quality and the satisfaction of our Clients and
final consumers.

Per le scale esterne forniamo gradini in massello, composti da
tre settori incollati fra loro e sigillati con gomma siliconica di
colore nero. Il paragradino può essere del tipo in ottone con
zigrinatura antiscivolo oppure in ottone con inserto in gomma
rigata di colore nero. Per le scale esterne realizziamo, inoltre,
serrette sottoscala in legno massello.
For external stair we supply solid wood steps, made with three
sections glued together and sealed with black silicon gum. The
nose protection can be in brass with anti-slip shagreen, or in
brass with rubber insert lined with black. We also make understairs wooden canvasses in solid wood for exterior staircases.
