Competition Office The Competition Office will be open: Thursday October 1st until 7 p.m. Friday from 10.00 a.m. to end of competition. Sunday from 8 a.m. until end of competition At the competition office you will be able to take/return your helmet covers, buy lunch vouchers and obtain any information you may need. Outside opening hours, look out for people with the 'Competition Office' badge! Lunches Lunch vouchers are on sale for meals in the rink dining area. First Course Only vouchers with drink: Euro 5,00 each Full meal vouchers with drink: Euro 9,00 each Dinner Dinner can be booked at the rink (in advance please!) We are also happy to recommend a couple of Restaurants, friends of the Shorttrack family, where you will have favourable conditions: Totò – via Inganni 83 ‐ Tel. 024151643 Just 5 minutes walk from the ice‐rink, Totò makes huge pizzas but also offers a wide range of delicious plates for all tastes. Il Tulipano Giallo – Piazza Bausan tel. 02.39325277 Absolutely well worth the 15 minutes drive from the rink, you will be able to savour home made traditional Italian food as you have never tasted. For pizza lovers, their pizza is not to be missed!20% discount for all the short track friends. To avoid disappointments, reservations are a must. You can ask any volunteer for help if your Italian is a little shaky! Other Restaurants in the area: Il Comignolo ‐ On the corner of via Inganni with via Zurigo – PIZZA only! Il Grissino – via Legioni Romane corner with via Pantigliate – Also serves food for people suffering from coeliac disorders. On the main road leaving Milan towards the motorway you can find: Pastarito Pizzarito – Viale Italia 31 – Corsico – pizza and pasta! (on the left of the road) McDonalds – via Lorenteggio 271 (on the left of the road) Spizzico/BurgerKing – Nuova Vigevanese (on the right) – fast food! Roadhouse Grill ‐ Nuova Vigevanese (one on both sides of the road!) – Steakhouse Public Transport information Underground MM1 (Red Line) take direction “Bisceglie” stop at Primaticcio or Inganni station – the rink is 5 minutes walk from either station. Buses stopping within walking distance of the rink: Numbers: 49, 54, 58, 63 & 64 Some addresses which we hope nobody will need! Pharmacies There are three pharmacies along via Inganni (see map) –opening hours: Mon to Fri 8:30 – 12:30, 15:30‐19:30 Saturday: only morning until 12:30 There is a Night Pharmacy in Via Lorenteggio 208 (see map) – opens after 9 p.m. through the night There is also a 24 hour Pharmacy open 7 days a week in via Caboto (Corsico), on the main road leaving Milan towards the motorway. Hospital The closest hospital to the rink is Ospedale S. Carlo – via Pio II, 3 ‐ Milano; 5 minutes drive from the rink. MAP OF THE AREA
