It leads to the Contrin hut, a good place to rest and a wonderful viewpoint at the foot of the south wall of the Marmolada, the queen of the Dolomites. Tour of the Latemar 32 km 1500 m Pozza - Mazzin Moncion - Gardeccia Canazei - Campitello Duron valley This is a short and fairly easy route that is suitable for the less experienced mountain bikers. After a well deserved break in one of the many restaurants of the area, it goes back down to the valley, passing through the hamlet of Pera. On this route you can reach the beautiful hollow of Fuciade well-known also thanks to the famous and refined restaurant bearing the same name. From Someda, the track passes through the entire San Pellegrino valley, mostly on forest roads, eventually leading back on the main road. Parcheggio: a Someda, al termine della Strada de Salgè 2500 m 433 m Canazei - Penia Pian Trevisan Pozza - Jumela Tal Ciampac 2500 m 1500 m 1h 50’ Track with a medium level of difficulty, through the upper Val di Fassa, passing through the villages of Alba and Penia, to the Villetta Maria hotel/restaurant, a traditional starting point for excursions to the Fedaia lake and the Marmolada. The route starts at the beginning of the San Nicoló valley and winds through the very green Jumela valley. Once reached the top through the Sela Brunech you will reach the Ciampac plain, which offers a very good selection of restaurants. The route takes you down to Alba di Canazei and running on the left of the Avisio river along the Marcialonga track, you return back to Pozza. Parcheggio: piscina comunale di Canazei Pozza - Jumela valley Ciampac 2500 m 1500 m Canazei - Mortic Pecol - Canazei Canazei - Penia Pian Trevisan This track is almost entirely on forest roads running through the woods, crossing the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano (trough the Carezza Pass) and returning through the picturesque hamlet of Tamion in the town of Vigo di Fassa. 6h 20’ Start from the centre of Canazei, the San Floriano Church on the right, and ride on along the Mortic dirt road uphill until 8° hairpin turn. Here ride along the asphalt state road for about three hundred metres, up to the 9° hairpin turn where you take the forest road on the front. Take the forest road which becomes steep in some stretches. Once at the top, you ride along the dirt road for two km more until you get to a crossroad where you find the sign to “Canazei”. Here starts the descent on a dirt road, demanding and quite technical, that leads onto the cycling route to Canazei. This route is suitable for experienced riders who are accustomed to rough roads (follow the directions of route no. 210 untill the crossing after the Lino Brach hut). From here turn left to reach fi rst the Antermoia hut rope-way and then (carrying your bike!) the panoramic Ciarejoles Pass (2.279 m). From here you descend towards the Dona hut (2.100 m) and, shortly after, turn left on a single track that leads you back to the Micheluzzi hut, where you can have a short rest, before returning to the starting point (route 210). WARNING: pay attention to the taxis on duty on the track between Campitello and the Micheluzzi hut. This route runs through the beautiful and unspoilt San Nicolò valley, with an interesting detour through the Monzoni valley, where the Monzoni dairy is located. Once you are back to the San Nicolò valley you find the “Baita alle Cascate” hut, a pleasant refreshment point where you can stop. On the picturesque forest road called “strada di Rusci” you return to Pozza on the asphalt road. Moena - Alpe di Lusia Colvere - Soraga -Moena Canazei - Mortic - Pecol - Canazei Canazei - Campitello Duron valley - Dona valley Pozza - San Nicoló Valley - Monzoni Valley Tour with start and arrival in Moena, along the tracks of the famous Val di Fassa Bike. It’s a more comfortable and shorter variation of the two racetracks described before thanks to the lifts to be taken to get to the Alp of Lusia, from where you start riding downhill toward the area called “Colvere”.
