BIOGRAFIA
Dj eclettico e sperimentatore, eternamente fedele alla sua anima dai suoni Funky/Deep, Niko è un
artista nato a Varese (Italy), dove giovanissimo ha mosso i suoi primi passi. Una carriera lunga
nonostante i suoi soli 33 anni, metà dei quali vissuti suonando; Ibiza la sua seconda casa, centro
del movimento musicale e luogo sacro per i dj di tutto il mondo, nel 2002 entra a far parte della
famiglia Pacha, occupandosi della fase di start-Up di Pacha Radio e suonando in diversi Club
dell'isla Blanca, ( Pacha, Space, Blu Marlin, Mambo, Savannah, Guaranà ) trasmette inoltre da
Ibiza per diverse Radio italiane (Radio Number One, Radio Studio più , Radio Fantasy, Radio Ibiza).
Nello stesso anno esce la sua prima produzione su Melodica Records, I Love Rock'n'Roll, poco
dopo crea la sua prima etichetta discografica e un progetto musicale chiamato Funkyside, che lo
porta in svariati luoghi in Italia e nel mondo: Usa,China,Emirati Arabi,Repubblica
Domenicana,Spagna, Olanda,Germania, Inghilterra, Francia, Tunisia, Grecia, Malta, Austria, Dubai,
Bahrain, sono solo alcune delle location dove propone i suoi dj set fatti di Groove e suoni caldi.
Alla direzione artistica di diversi club e locali si aggiunge l'apertura di locali di sua proprietà, che
lo portano a collaborare con dj e produttori di tutto il mondo. Barcellona ed Ibiza diventano una
seconda casa, nel 2009 inizia a collaborare con Bpremium, diventando dj resident nei migliori
club della capitale catalana, e del gruppo W, questo lo porta oltre oceano perché qualche anno più
tardi parte per il suo primo Asian Tour, porta i suoi suoni in oriente, da Shanghai,Hong Kong alla
Thailandia... e nella primavera del 2013 approda a New York.
Collabora con il produttore marocchino Abel RAY e a fine 2014 nasce il progetto ABERTON,
insieme trovano la giusta linea musicale che racchiude tutte le esperienze fatte in giro per il
mondo, un marchio che raggruppa produzioni, serate e non solo.
Le sue produzioni sono state pubblicate da Melodica Records, Wide Beat, Playa Music, Music
Plan, Stereocity, Smilax Publishing, Ibiza Night Records ,Widebeat Records, Lectral Records,
Soundiva. La musica evolve scoprendo nuove sonorità e rivisitandone di vecchie, antiche o
tradizionali. La musica è maestra, si svela e indirizza l’artista, lo conduce nei meandri più nascosti
della sua essenza ed esplode nelle casse diventando energia pura.

Eclectic and experimenter DJ , eternally loyal to his Funky - Deep soul sounds. Niko is an Italian
artist . At a young age , he has made its first artistic steps in his hometown, Varese. Niko has a
long career despite his age of 33 , half of whom lived playing. Ibiza is his second home, the
fulcrum of the musical movement and sacred place for DJs worldwide. In 2002 he joined the
Pacha’s family , dealing with the start- up of Pacha Radio and playing in different Club around the
Isla Blanca (Pacha, Space, Blu Marlin, Mambo, Savannah, Guaranà). Also, from Ibiza he began
working-playing for various Italian radio station (Radio Number One, Radio Studio Più , Radio
Fantasy, Radio Ibiza)
In the same year, he released his first production by Melodica Records, I Love Rock'n'Roll Later on,
he created his first record label and a music project called Funkyside , which took him to various
places in Italy and all around the world: US, China , United Arab Emirates , Dominican Republic,
Spain , Holland, Germany , England , France , Tunisia , Greece , Malta , Austria , Dubai , Bahrain…
and many others locations where he usually offering his DJ sets made by Groove and warm
sounds.
From being the artistic director of several clubs, he became the owner of few premises; those
combinations led him to collaborate with DJs and producers from all around the world. Barcelona
and Ibiza become a second home , in 2009 he began to work with Bpremium , becoming a DJ
resident in the best clubs of the Catalan capital, and for the group W as well. These new
achievements and successes have contributed to the creation of a new overseas experience.
indeed… Few years later, Nico Dj left for his first Asian Tour , leads its sounds in the East , from
Shanghai, Hong Kong to Thailand... and in the spring of 2013 arrives in New York.
At the end of 2014 he creates a new project called: ABERTON with the cooperation of the
Moroccan producer Abel RAY. His productions have been published by Melodica Records, Wide
Beat, Playa Music, Music Plan, Stereocity, Smilax Publishing, Ibiza Night Records, Widebeat
Records, Lectral Records, Soundiva.
The music evolves by discovering new sounds and by revisiting the old, ancient or traditional
sound. The music is a teacher, a guideline who reveals and directs the artist, by bringing him into
the depths of his hidden essence and explodes into the loudspeaker…becoming pure energy.
