Modern String Gig starring Six International Musos

(Hong Kong – 4 June 2014) Dada Bar + Lounge (Dada) at The Luxe Manor brings music lovers a
diversified gig this summer with the very first string jamming by 6 international musos from around the world.
‘muSIX STRINGer’ on next Saturday (14 June) is set to be a two-hour gig stubbed with melodious string
instruments collaborations with exciting band sound.
Jamming of Strings and Band Sounds
During the two-hour gig, three talented masters on strings will be joining their forces on violin, viola and
cello to create a harmonious swing, complemented concordantly by the embellishment of inspiring band
arrangement of guitar, bass, drums and keys which will create chemistry and add intriguing vibes on strings’
tunes.
Sweetly Familiar Songstress from NYC
Special NYC songstress Mara Measor will stage her soothing voice on that night. Mara spent her early
years playing the piano and obsessively listening to a glorious combination of Pavarotti and Elvis. Having
joined a local choir in Ethiopia, Mara developed her sweetly familiar and rustic style in peaceful Africa and
furthered her university study in the US. With her talents, she actively involved in song writing and the live
music scene in NYC while touring between America and Hong Kong to jam with passionate musos. With
Mara’s involvement, the chemistry on the string jamming will definitely be stimulated.
