uesto prestigioso appartamento
è stato completamente realizzato
da noi, dalla progettazione al
montaggio, per conto della società
immobiliare. Abbiamo utilizzato ebano
makassar, ottone, acciaio e pelle bianca
con l'applicazione di circa 6.000 borchie
posate a passi variabili allo scopo di
garantire un'estetica uniforme nelle
dimensioni dei pannelli e nelle diverse
giunzioni.
We created this prestigious apartment
from design to assembly on behalf the
real estate company. We used makassar
ebony, brass, steel and white leather
with the application of approximately
6,000 studs laid in variable steps in
order to ensure a uniform appearance in
the dimensions of the panels and in the
various joints.

il bagno padronale, la specchiera, contemporaneamente, è un armadietto apribile portamedicinali. Le
griglie in acciaio, in alcune parti in ottone, sono le coperture del sistema di climatizzazione, anche queste
di realizzazione esclusiva su disegno.

Si è trattato di una vera e
propria sfida in quanto dovevo
consegnare, chiavi in mano, una
residenza a New York, nel luogo
più prestigioso, e giocavamo
tutti fuori casa. Non nascondo
che il cantiere ha vissuto dei
momenti di criticità, in quanto
ci sono state molte variabili "in
corsa" di tipo strutturale e di
reinterpretazione degli stili con
un succedersi di più progettisti.
La disponibilità di Tempora
è stata determinante nello
sciogliere le tensioni perchè al
sorgere dei problemi ha saputo
sempre proporre delle soluzioni
giuste. Nella vita di un cantiere
può succedere anche questo ma
quel che più conta è avere tutti
obbiettivo comune che punta alla
soddisfazione del Cliente.
It was a real challenge because
I had to deliver a turnkey
residence in the most prestigious
place in New York, and we were
all playing away from home.
I cannot deny that the work
site experienced some critical
issues regarding structure and
reinterpretation of style since
there were many variable "on
course" and a sequence of
several designers. Tempora's
availability was instrumental in
dissolving tensions because
they always proposed the
right solution to problems that
arose. This is bound to happen
during the lifetime of a work
site but what counts most is
that everyone involved has
the common objective of the
satisfaction of the client.

master bathroom; the mirror is a medicine cabinet that
can be opened. The steel grilles, in some parts made
of brass, are air conditioning system covers that were
also exclusively made to design.

Le camere presentano boiserie con armadiature ad
ante in alcantara e interni in legno naturale e specchi.
Particolare attenzione è stata riservata agli aspetti
funzionali attraverso l'illuminazione a led, il sistema
Servetto ®, il corretto posizionamento di ripiani e
cassetti. La cabina armadio per "lui" costituisce un vero
concentrato di razionalità unita a classe. Realizzata in
ciliegio, ha cassetti dal frontale in vetro perfettamente
illuminati, tiretti estraibili con ripiani vuota-tasche, ante
scorrevoli e ampie superfici a specchio.
The rooms have wood panelling, and the wardrobes
have Alcantara doors with natural wood interiors and
mirrors. Special attention was given to the functional aspects by providing LED lighting, the Servetto®
system and the correct positioning of shelves and
drawers. The wardrobe for "him" is a real concentration
of rationality together with class. Made of cherry wood,
the wardrobe has glass fronted drawers that are perfectly lit, extractable pullers with miscellaneous holders
as well as sliding doors and large mirror surfaces.

La realizzazione di questo
progetto è per me legata
ad un ricordo indissolubile:
la ricorrenza del Natale.
Penso sia altrettanto per il
Team di Tempora. Il vincolo
strettissimo di questo lavoro,
oltre alle altre innumerevoli
caratteristiche e richieste per una
commessa di questo livello, era
proprio il tempo. Il cliente voleva
trascorrere il Natale nella sua
nuova dimora e io avevo dato
la mia parola che questo suo
desiderio si sarebbe realizzato.
Penso di aver fatto sentire molto
questa pressione sul Team di
lavoro, in alcuni momenti temevo
di far "saltare" loro i nervi anche
perchè le complessità in cantiere
c'erano tutte. Loro si sono
occupati di tutto, dal progetto
alla realizzazione chiavi in mano
e sapete com'è andata a finire?
Il cliente è entrato in casa alla
vigilia di Natale. Penso abbia
trascorso una festa memorabile
con la famiglia nella sua elegante
dimora Art Decò.

The creation of this project was
linked to one of my favourite
memories: the celebration of
Christmas. I think that it is the
same for the Tempora Team.
In addition to countless other
features and requests for a
contract of this level, the time
limits for this work was tight.
The client wanted to spend
Christmas in the new dwellings
and I promised that I would fulfil
this wish. I think I placed a lot of
pressure on the work team, and I
was afraid that I was "getting on
their nerves" also because there
were numerous complications
related to this construction site.
They looked after everything,
from the design to the turnkey
construction. Do you know how
it ended? The client entered
the house on Christmas Eve.
I think that this family spent
a memorable holiday in their
elegant Art Deco home.

committenti interpretando

particolare architettonico è

vagliato minuziosamente.

consentendoci di verificare
le decisioni passo dopo
passo. Ne è scaturito uno
spazio elegante dalla sobrietà
ricercata.
Designing a modern and
rational home that is not cold
and impersonal, giving life
to easily accessible places
with freedom of movement
and action. These are the
motivations of a household
that is united in its choices
that all have a common
denominator: to live their
home nest with intimacy
and joy! I approached this
restructuring by interpreting
these motives into my design
thanks to a continuous
exchange of ideas with my

anticato piallato perfettamente inserito nell'ambiente con chiusure di
tamponamento.

esidenza voluta e studiata appositamente per coltivare l'arte venatoria durante tutto l'anno. Campo
base per le battute di caccia con gli amici, rifugio
serale accogliente per il rientro dalle stesse, magari raccolti attorno al grande caminetto centrale. Decisamente
rustica nei masselli di noce, di rovere e di abete opportunamente piallati, anticati, patinati e sapientemente rifiniti
anche con bassorilievi, intarsi a mano ed elementi in ferro
battuto.
A residence built and designed specifically to cultivate
the art of hunting throughout the year. A base camp
for hunting with friends, a welcoming evening refuge for
their return, perhaps gathered around the large central
fireplace. Definitely rustic in solid walnut, oak and fir that
has been suitable and intelligently planed, antiqued,
coated and finished with bas-reliefs, inlays and hand
wrought iron elements.

Le condizioni in cui è nata la
realizzazione sono del tutto
singolari. Si partiva dall'idea ben
precisa di costruire una nuova
residenza di caccia fortemente
rustica che recuperasse
le lavorazioni artigianali e
trasferisse la sensazione di una
Dacia solida e protettiva.
Ma cercavo di avere qualche
cosa in più. Volevo respirare in
questi luoghi anche il sapore
del tempo. La caccia è un'arte
che richiede una preparazione
minuziosa, attesa, sacrificio ed
esperienza maturata in tante
battute; è vento e pioggia, sole e
neve. Volevo vedere nell'arredo la
forza e la resistenza all'usura.
Tempora ci è riuscita
conferendo al legno massiccio
una serie di finiture e lavorazioni
riuscitissime che lo hanno reso
già vissuto. L' abbinamento
al ferro battuto, poi, e ad altri
elementi sapientemente intagliati,
ha storicizzato gli ambienti e li ha
resi veramente unici.

all'alloggio dei fucili - da notare il particolare copricerniera in
stoffa - mentre quelli laterali contengono il vestiario. Sotto, i

The conditions in which the
execution arose are entirely
unusual. I started off with the
very clear idea of building a
new and very rustic hunting
lodge that would salvage the
handcrafted workmanship and
convey the feeling of a solid and
protective dacha. But I tried to
get something extra. I wanted to
also capture the flavour of time
in these places. Hunting is an
art that demands painstaking
preparation, waiting, sacrifice
and experience gained in a great
many hunts. It is wind and rain,
sun and snow. I wanted to see
strength and wear-resistance
in the furniture. Tempora was
successful in the endeavour by
giving the solid wood a series
of highly effective finishes and
treatments that aged it. Then
the combination with wrought
iron and other expertly carved
elements gave the rooms a
historical perspective and made
them truly unique.

n'esperienza lavorativa nella quale abbiamo saputo dimostrare ai massimi
livelli le nostre capacità organizzative
e tecniche. Il tradizionale stile ampezzano incontra la nostra eccellenza artigianale e insieme danno vita ad una delle più prestigiose
ville della Cortina immersa nella maestosità
delle Dolomiti. La sontuosità degli arredi, la
ricchezza di dettagli e la dimensione della commessa fanno di questa realizzazione
un'opera complessa estremamente rara. La
quantità di materiale necessario da reperire,
abete antico, unita alla quantità di lavorazioni
ad intaglio, tutte rigorosamente ed esclusivamente manuali, rendevano questo lavoro di
dimensioni "faraoniche". Il materiale antico poi,
presentava delle caratteristiche fisiche eterogenee rendendo le lavorazioni estremamente
delicate.
A working experience in which we were able
to demonstrate our organizational skills and
techniques at the highest level. The traditional
Ampezzan style meets our artisan excellence
and together they create one of the most
prestigious villas of Cortina surrounded by the
majestic Dolomites. The sumptuousness of
the furnishings, the richness of details and the
size of the job make this creation an extremely
rare piece of work. The amount of antique fir
to find, combined with the amount of work
for carving, all strictly and exclusively done
by hand, made this job "pharaonic". Also,
the antique materials had heterogeneous
physical
features
making

extremely delicate.

The craftsmanship for these types of projects
have now almost completely disappeared.
Le capacità artigianali per queste lavorazioni
sono ormai, quasi del tutto, scomparse. Noi
le custodiamo ancora, tramandandole ai nostri
giovani apprendisti come si usava nelle botteghe
rinascimentali. Per darvi un'idea delle lavorazioni,
vi basti pensare che nell'architrave della sala da
pranzo sono stati intagliati ben 80 cervi, uno
diverso dall'altro, per posizione ed espressione; le
lampade applique complessivamente riportano
oltre 300 melograni e frutti vari, tutti anche questi
rigorosamente intagliati a mano: dettagli di una

The craftsmanship for these types of projects
have now almost completely disappeared. We
still guard them and hand them down to our
young apprentices just like in the old renaissance
workshops. To give you an idea of the work, just
think that 80 deer were carved in the lintel of the
dining room and each of them are different due to
their position or expression; the wall lamps have
an overall of 300 pomegranates and various
fruits, which were all carved by hand: details of
a large-scale job. The viewer will certainly see a
thousand other peculiarities by taking a careful
look at the photos published here.

Il caminetto del salone principale presenta la scocca e l'alare
originali, la trave e l'arredo, invece,
sono completamente rifatti con intaglio manuale. Per il decoro della
cornice superiore è stata utilizzata
la tecnica della colatura di gesso
per ottenere l'effetto dell'altorilievo.
The fireplace in the main living

carving. The plaster casting
technique was used for the
decoration of the upper frame to
