Marchesini Group at Cosmopack 2007
The MV545 jar filling – capping machine on show
Marchesini Group, world leader in the sector of automated machinery for packaging
pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, will be at Cosmopack 2007 (Bologna 29 March - 1 April) – part of
the Cosmoprof trade fair – at Pavilion 19 Stand A41, as a guest of Dumek, the Bologna-based
company specialising in the design and construction of process and conditioning machines for the
cosmetics sector.
For years now in the cosmetics sector Marchesini Group has produced complete lines – from filling
to palletising – for packaging various types of cosmetic products such as tubes, jars, sachets,
bottles, mascaras. The Group also produces state-of-the-art machines for packaging products
such as nail varnish, lip gloss, compacts, perfumes and soaps, both bare and wrapped, not
forgetting the latest solution for complex packaging typical of the cosmetics sector. Innovative
solutions, designed and set up in such a way that they are customised for top level customers such
as the L’Oréal Group, Givenchy, Dior Parfum, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Procter&Gamble, Pierre
Fabre and Estée Lauder.
Marchesini will exhibit the MV545 jar filling – capping machine, designed in accordance with the
highest technological standards to guarantee maximum productivity and quality. Its operating
processes are controlled by a personal computer with colour touch-screen display. The machine
has an automatic cap pick up, positioning and tightening system with electronic torque control
whose values can be set from the control panel. The dosing units feature tri-clover connectors
(hopper, pumps, valves and nozzles) and can be transferred from the operating zone to the
washing and sterilising zone still fully assembled in a single block on the special trolley. Dosing can
be adjusted manually using a micrometric screw with digital readout, or automatically from the
display by means of the stepping motor. Finally, some technical information: range of sizes:
diameter 35 - 85 mm and height 35 - 80 mm; range of cap sizes: diameter 35 - 85 and height 10 35; mechanical speed: 75 strokes/min.
