Kurtaxe
Local Guest Tax
Das Gesetz vom 9. Februar 1996 regelt nach einheitlichen Grundsätzen die
Erhebung der Kurtaxe auf dem Gebiet des Kantons Wallis. Zur Erhebung
und Bezahlung der Kurtaxe (obligatorisch) melden Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem
Gastgeber.
Der Kurtaxenerlös wird für den Unterhalt und Ausbau von touristischer Infrastruktur sowie Events-Gästeunterhaltung verwendet.
The act from 9 February 1996 provides for the collection of local guest taxes
in the canton of Valais according to uniform principles. For additional information and payment (mandatory) please contact your host.
Revenue from the resort tax is used to maintain and develop the tourist
infrastructure and for events-entertainment.
