GO offre servizi di connessione internet e voce utilizzando Emilia-Romagna tecnologie wireless di quarta generazione (4G) mediante i protocolli Wimax e LTE. Marche Il servizio è attivo nelle Marche e in Emilia-Romagna dove GO internet è titolare dei diritti d’uso delle frequenze per i sistemi Broadband Wireless Access nella banda 3.5 GHz. Al 31 agosto 2016 GO ha registrato 35.829 clienti. Le Base Stations installate coprono il 12% della popolazione di Marche ed Emilia Romagna. La rete di distribuzione di GO conta oltre 437 punti vendita affiliati. Ottime prestazioni ovunque 4 un Tecnologia Il mercato tecnologico in Italia • Secondo l’ultimo report Agcom, nel 2015 in Italia le linee fisse sono calate di 350.000 unità. • Negli ultimi 4 anni Telecom Italia ha perso 2,9 milioni di linee. • Nel 2015 il traffico internet da mobile ha superato quello da PC. World Italia • wide Trend Internet Mobile • diventando un’abitudine. Gli smartphone rappresentano il 67% del mercato. Secondo Cisco entro il 2018 oltre il 50% del traffico Internet sarà generato da dispositivi mobili. Di conseguenza In Italia l’uso di dispositivi mobili per l’accesso a Internet sta le connessioni wireless aumenteranno, arrivando al 61%, mentre le linee • Come mostrato dal grafico, il numero di PC è stabile mentre il numero di dispositivi mobili utilizzati sta crescendo nettamente. Si attiva e naviga in pochi minuti. Try & Buy Il GO Box può essere preso in prova per 5 giorni presso i rivenditori affiliati. Nessun costo Telecom Non è necessaria la linea fissa di Telecom Italia. Ovunque e senza limiti di dati Il servizio 4G è mobile e illimitato e può essere usato ovunque all’interno dell’area di copertura. Assistenza I clienti hanno a disposizione il servizio help desk per assistenza. 6 Accordo con Huawei • GO internet e Huawei hanno siglato un accordo per la fornitura di base stations LTE. La nuova rete LTE basata su tecnologia Huawei è stata lanciata nel giugno 2015. • Con le base stations LTE la rete GO internet è in grado di raggiungere una velocità di 100 Mbit/s. La base stations Huawei sono inoltre dotate di tecnologia beamforming che garantisce una migliore ricezione del segnale all’interno delle abitazioni. • Il nuovo servizio 4G LTE permetterà alla società di rafforzare la propria presenza sia nelle città che nelle aree in digital divide e di conseguenza incrementare il numero dei clienti. • Il lancio del nuovo servizio 4G LTE è particolarmente rilevante sia in termini tecnologici che commerciali. 7 Gara per le frequenze 3.6-3.8 • • L’Agcom ha recentemente pubblicato una consultazione per discutere delle regole della gara per l’assegnazione delle frequenze 3.6-3.8 Ghz che avrà luogo a breve. Emilia-Romagna Marche Si tratta di un’opportunità molto importante per GO internet perché può consentire alla società di estendere la propria rete di copertura ad altre regioni italiane oltre alle attuali Marche ed Emilia Romagna. 8 Accordo con Enel Open Fiber GO internet S.p.A. ha recentemente sottoscritto un accordo con Enel Open Fiber per fornire, tra i primi operatori in Italia, connessione a banda ultralarga fino 1 Gbps in modalità Fiber to the Home (FTTH) nelle città previste dal piano strategico di EOF, in linea con l’Agenda Digitale Europea e la Strategia Italiana per la banda ultralarga. Il piano di EOF è già partito da Perugia dove GO internet tramite il progetto pilota ha attivato i primi clienti.
