A PLATFORM DEDICATED TO CINEMA EDUCATION
Cined - EUROPEAN CINEMA FOR YOUTH - è un progetto europeo di
cooperazione dedicato alla formazione cinematografica, che mira a consentire
ai giovani d’Europa di età compresa tra 6 e 19 di scoprire la ricchezza e la
diversità del cinema europeo.
Il programma mira a presentare il cinema europeo al maggior numero possibile
di giovani, affinché ne scoprano la cinematografia, la diversità culturale e
linguistica, sviluppando le capacità di analisi critica e l’acquisizione di
conoscenze del linguaggio e delle tecniche cinematografiche.
Questo programma completo, lanciato e guidato dall’Institut Français di
Parigi, riunisce al suo lancio nel 2015, 9 partner provenienti da 7 paesi diversi
europei tutti coinvolti nella formazione cinematografica. CinEd intende riunire
ogni anno sempre più partner provenienti da diversi paesi.
CinEd - European Cinema Education for Youth is a European cooperation programme dedicated
to cinema education, which aims to enable young people between the ages of 6 and 19 in Europe
to discover the richness of European cinema. The programme seeks to allow the largest possible
number of young people to be introduced to European cinema and to discover its cultural and
linguistic diversity, whilst developing their abilities in critical analysis and gaining knowledge of
cinematographic language and techniques. Initiated and driven by the Institut Français in Paris,
this comprehensive programme brings together, at its launch in 2015, 9 different partners from
7 European countries, (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic), all
involved in cinema education. CinEd intends to bring together more and more partners every year
from different countries.

Sviluppata dal Dipartimento Cinema dell’Institut Français, Dipartimento digitale ed europeo, la piattaforma
Cined è uno strumento digitale protetto che consente il trasferimento digitale dei film per consentirne proiezioni
pubbliche non commerciali e cineforum organizzati con condizioni specifiche.
La piattaforma Cined è disponibile in 45 Paesi previa registrazione e garantisce ai titolari dei diritti la totale
sicurezza dei file, grazie ad un sistema di cifratura e di geolocalizzazione (protezione DRM in modo che i film
non possano essere copiati o spostati). I film sono quindi accessibili solo per gli utenti la cui registrazione sia
stata convalidata e nei paesi in cui i film non sono soggetti a restrizioni dei diritti.
Developed by the Cinema Department of the Institut Français in connection with its digital department and its European
division, the CinEd platform is a secured digital tool allowing the digital transfer of films for the organisation of noncommercial, film club-style public showings under very specific, defined conditions.

COORDINAMENTO GENERALE
OVERALL COORDINATION & FRANCE
The CinEd platform is available in 45 countries only upon registration and guarantees right holders complete file security
thanks to an encryption and geolocation system (DRM protection so that the films may not be copied, moved or burned).
The films are thus only accessible for users whose registration has been validated and in countries where the films are
not subject to rights restrictions.

A COLLECTION OF EUROPEAN FILMS ACCESSIBLE ONLINE THROUGHOUT EUROPE
CINED offre agli spettatori di tutta l’Europa,
film contemporanei e il patrimonio filmico
dei paesi partner. Adatti per la diversità del
giovane pubblico, i film scelti dai membri del
consorzio formano una raccolta Europea di
alta qualità. I film sono disponibili in versione
originale e sono accompagnati da sottotitoli
in inglese e nelle lingue dei paesi coinvolti
nel progetto. La visione dei film attraverso
la piattaforma CinEd consente proiezioni
pubbliche esclusivamente in un contesto
culturale, non commerciale.
CinEd offers contemporary and heritage
films from partner countries to viewers
all over Europe. Adapted to match the
diversity of young audiences, the films
chosen collectively by the consortium
members form a high quality European
collection. The films are available in their
original version and are subtitled in the
languages of the countries involved in
the project and in English. Screening of
the films via the CinEd platform enables
public showings exclusively within a
cultural, non-commercial context.
UNA STRATEGIA COMUNE
A COMMON APPROACH
Utilizzando le rispettive esperienze, i partner
hanno creato una comune metodologia innovativa per l’analisi del film attuando e sviluppando materiali didattici disponibili in almeno
7 lingue e in inglese sulla piattaforma CinEd.
L’offerta comprende numerosi percorsi di lavoro per ogni livello di istruzione, da primario
ad universitario, per consentire ai giovani di
avvicinarsi ai film all’interno di un ambiente
educativo e non solo.
Based on their respective experiences,
the partners have created together a
methodology for the analysis of films and
are developing educational materials
available in at least 7 languages and
in English on the CinEd platform. At
primary, secondary, sixth-form and
university levels, they offer numerous
tracks for work, to allow young people
to approach films within an educational
environment and beyond.

CinEd è accessibile a un ampio spettro di
soggetti interessati: insegnanti, professionisti del cinema e settore audiovisivi, ecc.
È accessibile in tutta Europa (45 paesi), anche laddove non vi sia un Paese partner che
coordini il progetto, e in tal caso, le richieste
di registrazione al CinEd e alla piattaforma
possono essere inviate all’Institut Français di
Parigi.
CinEd è aperto ad operatori commerciali, i
quali, dopo aver negoziato i diritti delle opere
e le copie del film con i distributori, possono
registrarsi alla piattaforma e beneficiare dei
sottotitoli dei film disponibili e delle risorse
educative.
CinEd is accessible to a broad spectrum
of interested parties: teachers, cinema
and audio visual professionals etc.
It is available throughout Europe (45
countries), even where there is no
partner coordinating the project. In this
case, registration requests to the CinEd
platform can be sent to the Institut
Français in Paris.
CinEd is also open to commercial
operators. After negotiating the film
rights and copies with the distributors,
these operators may register with
the scheme and benefit from the
available film subtitles and educational
resources.

EUROPE / MEDIA PROGRAMME. CinEd is co-funded by the Creative Europe / MEDIA
programme of the European Union.
Dopo una fase pilota di 12 mesi, CinEd intende accogliere nuovi Paesi partner ogni anno
al fine di sviluppare un ampio catalogo di film
europei, per raggiungere il maggior numero
possibile di giovani e di affermarsi a lungo
termine.
Following a pilot phase of 12 months,
CinEd intends to welcome new
partners and new countries each year
in order to develop a large catalogue
of European films, to reach the largest
possible number of young people and
to establish itself in the long-term.

Ogni partner organizza e coordina a livello locale il progetto: la comunicazione, la gestione delle richieste di accesso alla piattaforma
e la registrazione su CinEd, la formazione per
l’approccio degli insegnanti e dei mediatori
culturali con il progetto e la sua didattica, la
proiezione e l’analisi dei film con i giovani, le
valutazioni, etc.

Each

requests to the platform and registration
on CinEd, training to familiarise
teachers and cultural mediators with the
scheme and its educational approach,
projection and analysis of the films with
