DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT
The trailer-mounted, and therefore mobile, unit’s function is to perform fire protection for class A, B and C
fires, to extinguish three-dimensional fires, including large ones, and to cover particularly extended hazard
areas ((200 sq m).
It is based on the double attack technology: quick extinguishment (powder) and re-ignition prevention (foam).
It requires no outside feeding (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic) and can be moved by hand or pulled by a motor
vehicle. The unit is mounted on a trailer which can be moved and used by a single operator. The TA100/100
unit can also be pulled by a car moving at a 24.8 mph on smooth ground.
The combined benefit of the Twin Agents applications consists in a quick reduction of flames in type-B and C
fires (powder effect) and in type-A fires (foam effect).
The high efficiency powder (Monnex® is one of the most efficient powders on the market), which ensures a
quick extinguishment, is totally compatible with the AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) used to suffocate the
fuel by means of a fine and strong film, thus preventing the issue of flammable vapors and fire to re-ignite.
AFFF has a special formulation, adapted to very low temperatures of use of the water solution (-15°C). One of
its characteristics is a particular efficiency on class-A fires by adding special Wetting Agents.

The Twin Agent trailed-mounted mobile unit includes the following components:
- 1 three-wheels trailer
- 2 100-liter tanks (one for the Chemical Powder and one for the AFFF pre-mixed solution)
- 1 14-liter nitrogen cylinder, pressurized at 200 bar, used to pressurize the tanks and discharge the extinguishing agents
- 2 10-m hoses, which discharge the extinguishing agents: Powder and/or Foaming Solution towards the
respective pistol-type nozzles
- 1 pistol-type nozzle for the Powder
- 1 pistol-type nozzle for the Foaming Solution
- 2 safety valves fitted on the top of each tank
- 2 depressurization hand-activated fitted on the top of each tank
- 1 draining hand-activated ball valve for the foaming solution fitted on the top of each tank
- 1 transforming valve to pressurize the two tanks with nitrogen.

DESCRIPTION DE L’UNITE
La fonction de l’unité TA100/100, et donc mobile, est d’assurer la protection incendie pour feux de classes A,
B et C, pour l’extinction de feux tridimensionnels, également importants, et de couvrir des zones de risque
particulièrement étendues (200 m 2).

La poudre à haute efficacité (la Monnex® est l’une des poudres les plus efficaces sur le marché), qui
assure une extinction rapide, est totalement compatible avec la mousse AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam
– Mousse formant une pellicule aqueuse) utilisée pour suffoquer le combustible à l’aide d’une fine et robuste
pellicule, prévenant ainsi l’émission de vapeurs inflammables et la reprise de l’incendie.
La mousse AFFF a une formulation de type spécial, adaptée à de très faibles températures d’emploi de la
solution aqueuse (-15°C). L’une de ses caractéristique est l’obtention d’une efficacité particulière dans les
incendies de classe A à travers l’ajout d’Agents Mouillants spéciaux.
L’unité mobile TA100/100 comprend les unités suivantes:

1 chariot à trois roues
2 réservoirs de 100 litres (un pour la Poudre Chimique et un pour la solution prémélangée d’AFFF)
1 bouteille d’azote de 14 litres, chargée à 200 bar, utilisée pour la pressurisation des réservoirs et
l’expulsion des agents extincteurs
2 manches de 10 m, qui envoient les agents extincteurs: Poudre et/ou Solution Moussante vers les lances
à pistolet respectives
1 lance à pistolet pour la Poudre
1 lance à pistolet pour la Solution Moussante
2 valves de sûreté montées sur la partie supérieure de chaque réservoir
2 clapets manuels à bille de dépressurisation montés sur la partie supérieure de chaque réservoir

1 détendeur pour la pressurisation à l’azote des deux réservoirs.
