STARLIGHT INSTALLATION GUIDE
L’installazione del Configuratore Interattivo
e di Starlight, si avvia automaticamente non
appena il CD del programma è inserito nel CDRom drive.
Durante il processo d’installazione potrebbe
essere necessario riavviare il sistema. Se
l’installazione non riparte dopo il riavvio,
per cortesia lanciare il Setup del CD
d’installazione.
Installation of Starlight Interactive
Configurator and Starlight will start
automatically as soon as the Starlight CD is
inserted in the CD-Rom drive.
During the installation process it may be
necessary to reboot the system. Should the
installation not be resumed automatically
after reboot, please launch the SETUP program
from the installation CD.
FUNZIONAMENTO IN MODALITA’ DEMO:
Per utilizzare StarLight in modalità Demo,
avviare il Configuratore Interattivo del menu
Start di Windows e selezionare l’opzione Demo
Mode nella finestra di registrazione che
appare appena è avviato il software. In
modalità Demo la memorizzazione dei dati è
disabilitata, ma sono memorizzati dei dati
a titolo d’esempio, in modo di permettere di
valutare il funzionamento di StarLight. Se
siete in possesso di uno strumento Elcontrol
e della Box di trasformazione PC-485- BOX 220 VAC, potete collegarlo al PC e visualizzare
in real-time i dati su Starlight.
DEMO MODE:
To evaluate Starlight in DEMO MODE, run the
Interactive Configurator from the Windows
START Menu and select the option DEMO MODE
in the Registration Window that will appear
the first time you start the software. In
DEMO MODE the Data-Logging is disabled, but
a set of example data is available in the
historical section in order to evaluate
Starlight’s features. If available, one
Elcontrol instrument can be connected to the
PC to visualize the real-time data on Starlight
demo . The DEMO MODE works for a limited
period of time.

Tutte le caratteristiche e le funzioni di
Star Light sono documentate nell’Help online
che può essere lanciato dal menù Help del
programma, dopo l’installazione.
ONLINE HELP:
All features and functions of Starlight are
documented in the online help that can be
launched from the help menu of the program,
after the installation.
AGGIORNAMENTI:
La cartella UPDATE, sul CD d’installazione
di Star Light, può contenere importanti
aggiornamenti non inclusi nell’installazione
standard. Per favore verificate se questa
cartella contiene uno o più files. Per
installare ogni aggiornamento semplicemente
copiate tutti i file contenuti nella cartella
dove StarLight è installato sovrascrivendo
i files esistenti.
UPDATES:
The folder labeled UPDATE on the Starlight
installation CD may contain important updates
that are not yet included in the standard
installation. Please verify if this folder
contains one or more update-files. To install
any updates, simply copy ALL files contained
in the UPDATE folder to the folder where
Starlight was installed, overwriting the
existing files.
REGISTRATION AND ACTIVATION OF STARLIGHT:
Per registrare la copia di Starlight da voi
acquistata dovete ottenere la password
d’abilitazione da Elcontrol Energy Net S.p.A
seguendo i seguenti passaggi.

To register and activate your purchased copy
of Starlight you need to obtain a valid UNLOCK
KEY from ELCONTROL ENERGY NET following these
steps:
1. Compilate il modulo di registrazione e
inviatelo via e-mail o via Fax al numero:
+39 051 845544 o chiamate in sede al
numero: +39 051 6782006
2. Se il software è stato acquistato da un
Distributore, è necessario indicare nel
modulo il nome e l’indirizzo del cliente
finale, e il nome del Distributore che ha
eseguito la vendita.
3. Riceverete direttamente da Elcontrol Energy
Net S.p.a. la password d’abilitazione del
Software Starlight
1. Fill in the Registration Form and send it
via e-mail to , via Fax to: +39 051 845544
or call: +39 051 6782006
2. If the software has been purchased from
a local distributor, the Registration Form
has to be addressed only to him.
3. You will receive the UNLOCK KEY to unlock
your copy of Starlight either from Elcontrol
or from your distributor.
Questa operazione deve essere eseguita una
sola volta.
Il programma una volta sbloccato funzionerà
automaticamente in tutte le sue funzioni e
non necessiterà più d’ulteriori sblocchi.
La password consente l’installazione solo su
un computer.
This operation has to be carried out only one
time; once your copy has been unlocked, it
will work forever in full mode and you won’t
be asked for the Unlock Key anymore.
