In caso di emergenza, è sufficiente aprire la valvola
posta al lato della testa del letto, identificata da
una visibile linguetta gialla. In circa 10 secondi è
possibile iniziare le manovre di rianimazione al
paziente.
In case of an emergency, it is sufficient to open the
valve located on the side of the head of the bed,
identified with a visible yellow tab. It is possible to
start resuscitation in around 10 seconds.

Operation during transportation
I compressori sono dotati di un sistema
di allarme visivo, che interviene in caso di
bassa pressione del materasso (pressione
< 5 mbar). Su richiesta è possibile avere
anche un segnalatore acustico con
silenziatore.
Mantenendo i tubi collegati al compressore, i
presidi rimangono gonfi per circa 3 ore, nel caso
del sistema IRIS PLUS, scollegando i tubi dal
compressore, il materasso resta gonfio per 10-12
ore, permettendo movimentazioni di lunga durata
senza la perdita dell’effetto terapeutico.
By keeping the tubes connected to the compressor,
the devices remain inflated for around 3 hours, in
the case of the IRIS PLUS system, by disconnecting
the tubes from the compressor, the mattress
remains inflated for 10-12 hours, allowing for a
long distance transportation without losing the
therapeutic action.

Static/dynamic function
The compressors are equipped with a
visual alarm system, that trips in the event
of low mattress pressure (pressure < 5
mbar). It is also possible to have an acoustic
alarm with silencer upon request.
Con i compressori IRIS, IRIS PLUS e DALIA è
possibile passare dalla modalità terapeutica a
pressione alternata alla modalità statica, ovvero
con tutti gli elementi gonfi alla stessa pressione,
regolabile dall’utente in base al peso del paziente.
Il regime statico è indicato per il trattamento dei
pazienti critici che non sopportano il movimento
della superficie, senza rinunciare all’effetto
preventivo dello scarico pressorio.
With the IRIS, IRIS PLUS and DALIA compressors it
is possible to change for the alternating pressure
therapeutic mode to the static mode, i.e. with all
the parts inflated at the same pressure, adjustable
by the user based on the patient’s weight. Static
operation is indicated for treating patients who
cannot withstand the movement of the surface,
without having to give up the preventative effect of
discharging pressure.

La terapia a pressione alternata
Alternate pressure therapy
La cover del materasso è realizzata in poliuretano
microporoso traspirante e bieleastico. Questo
materiale morbido e liscio scorre perfettamente
sulle cellule gonfiabili del materasso, minimizza
gli attriti e le forze di taglio responsabili alla
formazione delle lesioni. Il materiale fa traspirare
la sudorazione del paziente evitando la
macerazione cutanea, e, allo stesso tempo evita la
fuoriuscita dell’incontinenza.
Le caratteristiche antibatteriche, antistatiche
e antimicotiche evitano la formazione di un
microambiente malsano tra la cute e il presidio. La
cover è ignifuga secondo le norme BS 7175 – crib
5 ed è lavabile in lavatrice fino a 60°.
Il sistema a pressione alternata a tre
vie d’aria con un ciclo di 10 minuti
permette di distribuire il carico su tutta
la superficie del materasso in modo
migliore rispetto al tradizionale sistema a
2 vie, perché durante il ciclo alternato, la
superficie di distribuzione del peso è pari
al 67% della superficie totale, mentre nei
sistemi a due vie è solo del 50%.
A ciò corrispondono picchi di pressione
più bassi nel sistema a tre vie, con una
conseguente maggiore prefusione
sanguigna tissutale.
Le tre celle gonfiabili che sostengono la
testa, invece, restano sempre statiche per
evitare fastidiosi movimenti alla nuca del
paziente.
The three way air alternating
pressure system with a 10 minute
cycle makes it possible to better
distribute the load over the entire
mattress surface compared to the
traditional two way system, since
during the alternating cycle, the
weight distribution surface is equal
to 67% of the total surface, while in
two way systems it is only 50%.
This means lower pressure peaks
in the three way system, with a
consequent better tissue blood
prefusion.
The three inflatable cells which
support the head remain constantly
static to prevent uncomfortable
movements of the patient’s neck.
The cover
The mattress cover is made in breathable and
bieleastic microhole polyurethane. This soft
smooth material slides perfectly over the mattress
inflatable cells, minimising friction and the cutting
force which cause the formation of sores. The
material absorbs the patient’s perspiration pass,
avoiding skin ulcerations, and at the same time
preventing leakage due to incontinence.
The anti-bacterial, anti-static and anti-fungal
characteristics prevent the formation of an
unhealthy microenvironment between the
skin and the device. The cover is fire-proof in
accordance with the BS 7175 –crib 5 standard and
can be machine washed up to 60°.
