AGGETTIVI DIMOSTRATIVI Sono parole che indicano la posizione (lontananza o vicinanza) di un oggetto o una persona rispetto a chi parla. Per indicare VICINANZA usiamo: 1. THIS = prima di un sostantivo SINGOLARE 2. THESE = prima di un sostantivo PLURALE Per indicare la LONTANANZA usiamo: 1. THAT = prima di un sostantivo SINGOLARE 2. THOSE = prima di un sostantivo PLURALE 3. PLURALE DEI SOSTANTIVI Regola Generale: per trasformare un sostantivo da singolare a plurale, in inglese basta aggiungere una S alla forma singolare. Prima Eccezione: i sostantivi che, al singolare, terminano per S,SS,SH,CH,X,Z,O aggiungono ES per formare il plurale. Seconda Eccezione: i sostantivi che, al singolare, terminano per Y PRECEDUTA DA CONSONANTE, perdono la Y ed aggiungono IES per formare il plurale. Plurali Irregolari: si tratta di sostantivi la cui forma plurale non è riconducibile ad alcuna regola e, pertanto, deve essere imparata a memoria.
