Basandosi su una cultura aziendale che considera la
sicurezza e la salute dei lavoratori un impegno primario per
l’impresa, THRONA ha recentemente richiesto e ottenuto
la certificazione volontaria OHSAS 18001, che definisce gli
standard internazionali per la salvaguardia della salute e la
prevenzione degli infortuni. La certificazione OHSAS 18001
si integra compiutamente con il sistema di gestione della
qualità ISO 9001 e con il sistema di gestione ambientale ISO
14001, a cui THRONA si attiene da anni e che ha ottenuto in
Italia tra le prime aziende del settore.
With the belief that safety and health in the working
environment is the primary commitment for the company,
recently THRONA has voluntarily obtained the certification
OHSAS 18001, that defines the international standards for
safety maintenance and injury prevention in the working
environment. The OHSAS 18001 certification is a perfect
integration to the certified management system represented
by the quality certification ISO 9001 and environmental
certification ISO 14001, to which Throna conforms since
several years, as one of the first Italian companies in the
office furniture market.

Per THRONA l’ergonomia consiste nel miglior rapporto tra le
condizioni psicofisiche di chi lavora e le attività richieste dal
suo lavoro. Per questo THRONA ha effettuato ricerche sulle
posture di chi opera in ufficio, valutando i loro effetti sulla
struttura muscolo-scheletrica e sui livelli di compressione
di organi e sistemi fisiologici. Gli studi hanno evidenziato
che le sedute devono favorire un adeguato supporto e una
naturale libertà di movimento per evitare tensioni, rigidità,
indolenzimenti, e migliorare l’efficienza e la concentrazione
nelle attività lavorative in chi rimane seduto anche per molte
ore al giorno.
According to THRONA, the ergonomic principle is based on
the relationship between physical and mental condition of
those who work and activities required by his work. For this
reason THRONA, through an in-depth research on postures
of office workers, has assessed their effects on muscleskeletal structure and levels of organ compression and
physiological systems. Studies have shown that the chairs
should promote appropriate support and natural freedom of
movement to avoid tension, stiffness, soreness, and improve
the efficiency and concentration in work activities of those
who remain seated for many hours a day

Le sedute THRONA aiutano a conservare una buona
salute. Il principio della loro progettazione è quello
dell’alleggerimento delle tensioni superflue, per questo
sostengono la spina dorsale, scaricano la pressione dei
movimenti direttamente a terra e aiutano a mantenere
la posizione corretta con il minimo sforzo muscolare. In
questo modo favoriscono il rilassamento della muscolatura
e riducono la sensazione di fatica. Le sedute THRONA sono
regolabili in relazione all’altezza, al peso e alla struttura fisica
di chi le utilizza. Gli schienali si adattano dinamicamente alle
naturali variazioni di inclinazione della schiena, assecondano
i movimenti spontanei e favoriscono i cambiamenti di
posizione. Così seguono le leggi della vita, che è fatta di
attività e di movimento.
THRONA’s ergonomic seating can help those working while
seated for a long number of hours to preserve a good health
and to improve performances. THRONA armchairs are
built according to the principle that comfort is the result of
relieving the body of superfluous and unnecessary tensions.
They properly sustain the spinal cord by unloading all the
pressure of the muscles and help to keep a proper position
by utilising the least amount of muscles, with the result of
relaxing the muscle structure and reducing the sensation
of fatigue. Adjustable according to the height, weight and
shape of the end user, THRONA armchairs are provided with
backrests that conform to the natural back shape. They do
not stall the body by helping its spontaneous movement
and they favour the natural changes and variations of the

The new upholstery collection of THRONA, inspired by
natural colours, is an addition to the wide offering already
available thanks to the previous collection. It is now
developed in a wider chromatic variation. It is also easier
to choose according to the desired finishing and shade that
better matches and coordinates the area to be furnished,

use a customer own material, as long as its functionality and
