Dopo un restauro di 40 milioni di dollari, riapre il Paramount Hotel di New York. Il 31 dicembre veglione nel
rinnovato supper club Diamond Horseshoe
La Paramount Hotel nel quartiere dei teatri di New York è nel pieno di un emozionante risveglio dopo una
ristrutturazione costa 40 milioni dollari investiti dal magnate immobiliare e mecenate delle arti Aby Rosen,
della RFR Holding LLC .
La struttura fu progettata nel 1928 dall’architetto teatrale Thomas W. Lamb, e il restauro ne ha lustrato le parti
Art Deco e lo stile originale conservando la sua atmosfera urbana che ben evoca il vecchio glamour
newyorchese, e ne fa uno dei rari alberghi di Times Square con un’anima.
La trasformazione di Paramount sarà completa con la riapertura del “Diamond Horseshoe”, ritrovo bohémien
aperto nel 1938 dall’eccentrico impresario teatrale Billy Rose, dove ci si ritrovava dopo lo spettacolo per
cenare, parlare della mise en scene e per guardare le belle fanciulle del varietà. La data è fissata per il 31
dicembre 2013, e si comincia con lo spettacolo Queen of the Night prodotto da Randy Weiner di Variety World
Wide LLC , lo stesso di Sleep No More .
