Following the historic agreement signed in November 2014 by the Australian and Indian
Governments for strengthening artistic and cultural ties, the first major event in cultural
diplomacy will be the tour of the Australian World Orchestra to India with the iconic
Maestro Zubin Mehta.
Founded in 2009 by Alexander Briger, the AWO's vision is to bring together Australia's
finest musicians from home and across the world to perform in Australia and overseas.
These Australian musicians perform in many of the world's leading orchestras including
the Israel, Berlin, Vienna, Lucerne, Stuttgart, Munich, Leipzig, Concertgebouw, Chicago,
Los Angeles, Birmingham and London symphony orchestras.
The Mehli Mehta Music Foundation is privileged to present two performances of the
Australian World Orchestra in Mumbai on Sunday, October 25 and Monday, October 26,
2015 at the J B Theatre, NCPA at 7 pm. The Soloists for the two concerts will be Soprano
Greta Bradman ( granddaughter of the legendary cricketer Don Bradman ), Daniel Dodds
(Violin) and Toby Lea (Viola).

On the public booking days, cheques and credit cards will not be accepted. Only two
tickets per person, per concert, will be allotted, subject to availability.
