Dear Trevisani Members:
This is a wonderful time of year when we get together with our families to celebrate and cherish time spent with
them and look forward to new and exciting things next year. The 2013 year is a very special one for our society
as we will celebrate our 35th anniversary. We hope that many of you will come out and participate in our
events and that our membership numbers will continue to grow bringing in a large number of young people so
that we can continue this society for many years to come.
Before we begin 2013's events we will finish the year with a CHRISTMAS LIGHTS BUS TOUR. We are
organizing a bus tour of the Christmas Lights in Vancouver. The bus will leave St. Theresa's at 6:00 pm and
travel around Vancouver / Burnaby so we can see some of the amazing light display, followed by hot drinks
and sweets at the end of the tour. If you are interested the cost is $10.00 per member and $15.00 for nonmembers. The date is December 16. If you would like to participate please call Teresa and reserve your seat
as spots are limited.
We will begin our 2013 events on Sunday January 6 th where we will have our 2013 registration. This will
take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Hall starting at 2:00 pm. The cost for membership is as follows:
►$5.00 for one person 18 years and under
►$15.00 for one person
►$25.00 for a husband and wife
►$50.00 for one person with the newsletter
►$60.00 for a husband and wife with the newsletter
NO registration will be accepted after March 15, 2013. As you can see we have included an envelope for you
to submit your membership dues. Don’t wait send in your registration fees now.
Showing up on Sunday January 6th, will be The Befana. This will also take place at Our Lady of Sorrows
Hall starting at 3:00 pm. All children or grandchildren of our members are invited to attend. Ages are from
newborn to 10 years. Children must be present to receive their gifts. To register call Emanuela at 604-2945615, before December 31st, 2012. We will NOT accept any registrations after this date.
Our fun Carnevale afternoon, will be held at St. Helen's Parish on Sunday Feb 10, 2013. Join us for sweets
and prizes. The event begins at 2:00 pm. Who know who will show up to entertain everyone. Please call
Teresa at 604-299-5950 to book your spot. Please call before January 31st 2013.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday March 10th at St. Helen's Parish starting at 1:30
pm. This will be your last opportunity for you to pay your membership dues. Join us also for some information
and sweets.
Of course our fun Trevisani Picnic will on Sunday July 28 at Confederation Park. Hopefully the weather will
co-operate and we can enjoy an afternoon of bocce, food and sitting around with our friends and family.

Cari Soci Trevisani:
Questo é il meraviglioso tempo dell'anno in cui ci riuniamo con la famiglia per
celebrarla, goderla e per sperare in nuovi ed eccitanti avvenimenti nel prossimo anno.
L'anno 2013, sará veramente un anno speciale per la nostra societá, perché
celebreremo il nostro 35mo anniversario di fondazione. Speriamo che molti di voi
veniate a partecipare ai nostri eventi e che il nostro numero di associati continui ad
aumentare portando in seno della societá un grande numero di giovani, cosicché
possiamo continuare ad esistere per molti anni avenire.
Prima di'iniziare gli eventi del 2013, vogliamo terminare l'anno con la visita in autobus,
delle illuminazioni natalizie. Stiamo organizzando un giro con l'autobus che ci porterá
a visitare le luci di natale. Essa partirá dalla chiesa di S. Teresa alle 6:00 pm e
viaggerá attorno a Vancouver e Burnaby, in modo che potremo ammirare le
spettacolari luminare. Concluderemo poi la fine dell'escursione con bibite calde e
dolci. La data é Dicembre 16, 2012. Se siete interessati a parteciparvi, il costo é di
$10 per socio e $15 per i non soci. Per piacere telefonate a Teresa e riservatevi il
posto perché i seggi sono limitati.
Inizieremo i nostri eventi domenica 6 gennaio, con le registrazioni del 2013, che si
terrannno nella sala della parrocchia della “Our Lady of Sorrows” ed inizieranno alle
2:00 pm. Il costo del tesseramento per i soci é il seguente:
►$5.00 per una persona di 18 anni o piú giovane
►$15.00 per una persona
►$25.00 per marito e moglie
►$50.00 per una persona con il giornale
►$60.00 per marito e moglie con il giornale
Dopo il 15 Marzo, 2013, non si accetteranno piú iscrizioni. Come vedete vi abbiamo
incluso una busta per inserirvi la quota di tesseramento. Non aspettate, inviatecela
oggi!
Senza dubbio noi tutti sappiamo chi si presenterǎ domenica 6 gennaio, la Befana.
Anche questa ricorrenza si terrǎ nella sala della chiesa “Our Lady of Sorrows” ed
inizierǎ alle 3:30 pm. Tutti i bambini o nipotini dei nostri soci sono invitati ad
attendervi. L’etǎ va dai neonati ai dieci anni. I bambini perǒ devono essere presenti
per ricevere i loro regali. Per iscriverli chiamate Emanuela al 604-294-5615, prima del
31 dicembre 2012. Noi non accettiamo alcuna iscrizione dopo questa data.
Il nostro Carnevale sarǎ domenica pomeriggio, 10 febbraio alle 2:00 pm, nella
parrocchia St. Helens. Unitevi a noi per divertirvi, mangiare e vincere dei premi. Per
piacere per riservare il vostro posto, chiamate Teresa, al 604-299-5950, prima del 31
gennaio 2013.
La nostra assemblea generale annuale si terrǎ domenica 10 marzo, nella parrocchia
di St. Helens e inizierǎ alle 2:00 pm. Inoltre, in questa data, ci sarǎ l’ultima opportunitǎ
di pagare il tessaramento. Unitevi a noi per avere delle informazioni e per consumare
dei dolci assieme
Il nostro sempre popolare “Picnic” dei Trevisani, avverrǎ sicuramente domenica, 28
luglio,, al Confederation Park. Venite ed unitevi a noi per gustare del cibo, giocare a
bocce e per socializzare con gli amici
