Sei un appassionato delle acque libere o hai interesse a partecipare ad eventi sportivi?
Allora annunciati come volontario ai Campionati Europei di acque libere Juniori 2015!
I volontari sono una parte importantissima di ogni grande evento sportivo.
In questo ruolo date all’evento un volto e un’ identità e contribuite al suo successo. Sia che
si tratti di atleti, giudici, ospiti o spettatori, in qualità di volontario sei un rappresentante o la
persona di contatto per i vari gruppi e hai un ruolo importante nello svolgimento dell’evento.
Lavorando con il team dell’organizzazione acquisirai esperienza nelle diverse aree
dell’evento, ti saranno affidati compiti e ti divertirai nel contempo !
Stiamo cercando volontari per le aree dell’accredito, info stand, cerimonie, ospitalità,
supporto in ufficio, team competizione, supporto alle squadre, istallazione campo gara,
antidoping e tuttofare.
I volontari dovrebbero essere in grado di parlare italiano o inglese, a dipendenza del compito
assegnato. Siccome però i campionati si svolgono in Ticino incoraggiamo i volontari che
ticinesi ad annunciarsi.
Ai volontari va la nostra più profonda gratitudine, ricompensata con T-shirts, cappellino,
pranzo e bevande nei giorni di competizione.

Are you an enthusiastic supporter of open water swimming and / or have a strong interest in
sporting events? Then apply as a volunteer at the LEN European Junior Open Water
Swimming Championships 2015!
Volunteers are a central component of any major sporting event. As a volunteer you give the
event a face and make the difference in safeguarding is success. Whether an athlete,
official, guest or spectator – as a volunteer you are either a representative or contact person
for the various groups and take on an important role in the sequence of events.
Together with a dedicated team, you gain experience in the different areas of event
organisation, solving challenging tasks and have a lot of fun in the process!
We are looking for volunteers for the areas such as accreditation, info desk, ceremonies,
hospitality, office support, competition team, team support, venue set-up and logistics, social
media-team, medical / anti-doping and all-rounder.
All volunteers are required to be able to speak either Italian or English. Since the
Championships will take place in Italian-speaking Switzerland, we encourage volunteers
from Ticino to apply.
Volunteering comes with our deepest gratitude. We provide T-shirts and Caps as well as
lunches and soft drinks on event days.

C’è un limite d’età?
L’età minima è di 14 anni. Non c’è limite verso l’alto.
Ho bisogno di esperienza nell’organizzazione di eventi sportivi?
No; ti sarà detto tutto ciò che devi fare.
Riceverò un’indennità per il mio lavoro?
Il volontariato segue il principio della passione, il lavoro non viene quindi pagato.
In cambio acquisirai un’esperienza nell’organizzazione di eventi sportivi che può essere
quantificata. E’ importante inserirla nel CV per accrescere le chances d’impiego e non
dimenticate che potrete anche divertirvi.
Non abito a Tenero, ci sarà un alloggio per i volontari che vengono da altre località?
Sei responsabile di organizzare il tuo alloggio e il trasporto a Tenero. Hai la possibilità di
pernottare all’ostello o al campeggio di Tenero a tue spese. Se decidi per questa opzione,
puoi contattarci per l’assistenza.
Bevande e pranzo saranno a nostro carico.
C’è una tenuta ufficiale?
Ogni volontario riceverà un T-Shirt ufficiale dell’evento. Sarai tenuto a portarlo in modo da
essere riconosciuto dai tuoi compagni volontari e da altri. Altri vestiti ( shorts, scarpe) sono a
libera scelta e devono essere confortevoli.
Come posso annunciarmi?
Completa per favore il formulario di registrazione e invialo per e-mail. Il coordinatore dei
volontari ti contatterà per i passi successivi.
Is there an age limit for volunteers? The minimum age for volunteers is 14. There is no
upper age limit.
Do I need any previous experience with organising sport events? No, you will be told
what do you have to do.
Do I receive any salary for my work? Volunteering works on the principle of passion
therefore the work is not paid. You will get valuable sports event experience, which can be
counted, as your volunteering hours for a range of qualifications. It is great to put on your CV
improving your employability chances and confidence and you can have a great fun!
What are other benefits of volunteering? You will be a part of a great event, meet new
people who all have strong interest in sports, make new friends, meet the best junior
swimmers in Europe, develop new skills and have fun! Volunteering also includes some nice
swag, including a T-shirt and a baseball cap.
I don’t live in Tenero. Will there be accommodation for volunteers who are from other
places? You are responsible for organising your accommodation and transport to Tenero.
You have a possibility of staying in the Hostel or at the camping side in Tenero on your own
costs. If you decide to do so, you may contact us for assistance.
Is there a dress code? Every volunteer will become official event T-shirt(s). You are
required to wear it so you are recognisable to your teammates as well as others. All the
other clothes (trousers, shorts, shoes...) are free to choose and should be comfortable and
clean.
What are the steps I need to take to become a volunteer? The first step is to complete
the volunteer application. After your application is received, the volunteer coordination will
contact you about the next step.
