Al Salone del Mobile 2014, Lema racconta
una casa personale: un luogo informale
e confortevole, affettuoso e lieve, contrassegnato
da un’estetica mai fine a se stessa, ma pensata
per accogliere gesti e pensieri, come suggerisce
Piero Lissoni che firma l’art direction degli
allestimenti. Lo sottolineano in ogni dettaglio
le nuove collezioni: le forme essenziali dei sistemi
modulari e quelle preziose dei pezzi unici;
i materiali e le finiture, come i legni naturali
e pregiati, accostati a metalli e vetro di sapore
contemporaneo; i colori che rimandano alla
ricchezza della terra; le lavorazioni che ribadiscono
il legame fra artigianalità e tecnologia;
i rivestimenti, come tessuti e pelli, che si rifanno
a una bellezza hand made. Una produzione che
nasce dalle diverse visioni di notissimi designer
e dall’esperienza di oltre quarant’anni di storia
Lema, quest’anno confluita in “officinadesign
Lema”, per una integrazione sempre più stretta
fra ricerca estetica e tecnica.

Lema describes a personal home at the 2014
Salone del Mobile: a place that is informal and
comfortable, soft and tender, one marked by
a beauty that is never an end in itself but a way
of accommodating gestures and thoughts the words of Piero Lissoni who was responsible
for the Art Direction of the stand. Every detail
of the new collections underlines this notion:
the essential forms of the modular systems and
the exquisite shapes of the unique pieces; the
materials and finishes, such as natural, choice
woods combined with the contemporary feel
of metal and glass; colours resonant of the
richness of the earth; the workmanship that
accentuates the connection between craftsmanship
and technology; fabric and leather upholstery
reminiscent of a handcrafted beauty.
A production derived from the different visions
of well-known designers and from Lema’s
experience of more than forty years, this year
converging in “officinadesign Lema” for an
ever-closer integration between aesthetics and
technology.

Un luogo intimo, progettato per il riposo,
ma anche uno spazio adatto a diversi momenti della giornata.
An intimate space, designed for rest,
but a space also suited to diverse periods of the day.
Lema pensa la casa come insieme organico,
coerente e completo. Per questo, ogni ambiente
si arricchisce di pezzi progettati ad hoc, ma può
contare su complementi e sistemi modulari
da giocare liberamente, per creare angoli
personali e strutture flessibili capaci di rispondere
alle esigenze più specifiche. Per questo, una
zona notte Lema è un luogo intimo, progettato
per il riposo, ma anche uno spazio adatto
a diversi momenti della giornata.
In linea con le precedenti collezioni, per il 2014
Lema punta su un design come protagonista
discreto che sceglie materiali naturali sapientemente abbinati a imbottiture di gran confort.
Eccezionalmente versatili per misure e finiture
e accessori, le nuove cabine armadio Hangar
e Novenove, e le nuove proposte per Armadio
al Centimetro, offrono la possibilità di creare
veri e propri ambienti negli ambienti, spazi
privatissimi, belli, funzionali, dedicati a ordinare
e contenere.

Lema envisages the house as an organic, coherent
and complete entity. For this reason, each space
is enriched by specifically designed pieces,
further enhanced by accessories and modular
systems that can be freely combined, to create
personal corners and flexible structures able
to respond to the most specific needs.
For this reason, the Lema sleeping area
is an intimate space, designed for rest but also
as a space suitable for other times of day.
In line with previous collections, 2014 sees
Lema aiming for a design that is both protagonist
and discreet, one that chooses natural materials
cleverly combined with superbly comfortable
upholstery. Exceptionally versatile in terms of
sizes, finishes and accessories, the new Hangar
and Novenove walk-in wardrobes, together
with the new proposals for the Armadio al
Centimetro, offer the opportunity to create real
environments within environments, extremely
private spaces that are beautiful, functional
and dedicated to storing and organizing.
