It is easy to get to Helsingborg. The city is a transport hub with good travel links for cars, buses, trains, ferries and planes. There are commuter trains and buses to several cities and towns and it is close to Copenhagen Airport. There are ferries to Helsingör (Elsinore) several times an hour. With Skånetrafiken you can go with all public buses and trains in all of Skåne. With Öresundståg /trains you can travel across the border to Denmark and Copenhagen. The ferry terminal is also located here. There are several train stations all over the municipality. Skånetrafiken is responsible for trains and buses in Helsingborg and throughout the rest of Skåne (Scania). You cannot use cash on buses and trains in Skåne nor purchase tickets onboard. Skånetrafiken runs the local and regional bus and train system, and if you intend on spending some time in the Skåne-region it is highly recommended that you get the so called Jojo-card which is a prepay card that gives you 20% off any ticket. You can buy the Jojo Discount card at one of the customer centers, service agents or retailers. If you want to top-up your Jojo card it is possible to do so at the customer centers and service agents or in the ticket machines. The minimum amount to top-up with is always 200 SEK. If you don´t have a Jojo discount card, you can buy your ticket in advance at the customer service centers and service agents (for example Pressbyrån). A duo/family ticket will give you another 10% off (for up to 2 adults and 3 children). The 24/72 hour ticket is valid for 24 or 72 hours from the time of purchase and it is available for all of Skåne or just for Malmö or Helsingborg including the surrounding city zones. All train stations in Skåne have machines where you can buy your ticket using Jojo card or with a debit/credit card. You can plan your train or bus journey by using the travel planner on Skånetrafiken's website s kanetrafiken.se or by calling Skånetrafiken’s customer services on 0771-77 77 77. 1/4 Travel Scritto da Administrator Martedì 23 Ottobre 2012 13:15 - Ultimo aggiornamento Lunedì 26 Novembre 2012 11:23 By plane Copenhagen airport, Kastrup Copenhagen International Airport , Kastrup, is located 70 kilometers from Helsingborg and can be accessed by direct hourly trains in 1 hour.
