It was the year 2000, and her personal research and projects focused upon geometry and volume have never ceased. Manuela Gandini studies the interaction between the body and jewelry, and the plasticity of different materials. She arrived at titanium, steel, rubber and nylon, and availed herself of cutting-edge techniques, such as 3D-modelling, rapid prototyping and chemical cutting but never lost sight of the traditional art of goldsmithing. The concept behind Manuganda that of unconventional pieces, fruit of meticulous research and an eclectic artistic path. The brand was born in 2004, entirely classified ‘Made in Italy’ and is presented in limited-edition creations. Studia l’interazione tra corpo e gioiello, la differente plasticità dei materiali, e arriva al titanio, l’acciaio, la gomma e il nylon. Si avvale delle più moderne tecniche di lavorazione, dalla modellazione 3D alla prototipazione rapida e il taglio chimico, ma non abbandona mai le più tradizioni tecniche orafe. L’idea gioiello di Manuganda è ancorata a un concetto di ‘unconventional pieces’, frutto di una minuziosa ricerca e di un percorso artistico molto eclettico. La collezione Manuganda nasce ufficialmente nel 2004, totalmente Made in Italy e con creazioni in edizione limitata. Le forme geometriche si mescolano armoniosamente tra loro e danno vita a gioielli fuori dal tempo e di grande versatilità.
