To get to Bergamo - the european days on environmental education

- The airport of Bergamo is called "Orio al Serio" www.sacbo.it ( most of the low cost websites call
this airport Milan, but it is actually located in Bergamo!)

By Car
Take the A4 Milano-Venezia highway, exit "Bergamo".
We recommend leaving the car in the Lower Town (Città Bassa) and get to the Upper Town (Città
Alta) by public transport, being an area largely pedestrian.
To arrive at Bergamo "Città Alta" with public transport
From the railway/ bus station (Piazza Marconi 7) take bus line 1 A. The route of this bus line
connects città bassa with città alta, transiting through the city center.
As an alternative you can take the cable car from Città bassa ((stazione Inferiore della funicolare,
Viale Vittorio Emanuele II) and enjoy a ride that will lead you straight to the historical city center
of Bergamo Alta.
