Sotto al mare, ai piedi del bianco castello
di Miramare si nasconde uno scrigno
di biodiversità marina: ma come
scoprirla? Con uno snorkeling presso
l’Area Marina Protetta di Miramare,
l’unica riserva marina della Regione,
dove lo staff del WWF può accompagnarti
in mare per osservare decine di specie
animali e vegetali, alcune più abbondanti e
comuni, altre più rare: corvine, blennidi,
nudibranchi, stelle marine... la Riserva
protegge habitat ricchi di vita e di biodiversità!

W hat’s go in e sea?

Underwater, at the feet of the white Castle
of Miramare, there is a hidden treasure
of marine biodiversity: but how can we
discover it? With a snorkelling tour in
Miramare Marine Protected Area, the only
marine reserve of the Region, where WWF
staff members will lead you on a tour to
discover dozens of animal and plant species,
from the most common and abundant to
the rarest: brown meagres, blennies,
nudibranchs, starfish... Miramare MPA
protects habitats rich in life and biodiversity!!
WHEN: every Saturday,
in July and August 2016*
TIME: at 10 a.m.
DURATION: two hours/ two hours
and a half (approx.)
MEETING POINT: Castelletto (Little Castle)
of Miramare
COST: 20 euro per participant
REQUIREMENTS: you must be able to swim
and use a snorkel and mask
*2016 ‘TurismoFVG’ Promotion: for each paying
adult, CARNET FAMILY holders get a 50% discount
for a child under 16.
