Il casco va considerato un sistema di sicurezza progettato e costruito per assorbire, in caso di impatto, la maggior quantità possibile
di energia. Il casco non deve proteggere se stesso, ma chi lo utilizza. Il casco è composto da molti componenti tutti importanti e tutti
essenziali per garantirne il corretto funzionamento.

of energy. The helmet does not need to protect itself, but the individual using it. The helmet features many important components,
all essential in order to ensure it functions correctly.

Calotta esterna in fibra / Fibre outer shell

personalizzazione nella zona posteriore inferiore. Il concessionario NON deve
inserire l’ordine a sistema come se fosse un casco “non personalizzato”.
Ducati deve inserire l’ordine a sistema per conto del concessionario in quanto
occorre creare un codice dedicato (es. 981234567AB ) per poter seguire il
processo di personalizzazione. /
Since the helmets are hand painted, it is possible to add a customization on the
lower back area. Dealer must NOT insert the order in the system as with a “not
custom” helmets. In order to follow the customization process a dedicated
code (i.e. 981234567AB ) must be created and the order has to be inserted in
the system by Ducati on dealer’s behalf.

The Ducati Corse Carbon fiber helmet by Arai is the ultimate accessory for
the Ducatista who has everything: it is one of the most special helmets ever
offered to the motorcycling community. Each outer shell consists of no less
than eleven carefully applied carbon fiber layers, it is a mixture of aircraft
quality premium carbon fibre with Arai’s own resin plus Zylon reinforcement.
Every Ducati Corse Carbon helmet is hand built by a single Arai craftsman
and then hand painted with the signature and the Ducati Corse graphics. On
Corsair-V RC (US Version; RX-7 RC European version & RX-7 RC Japanese
version ). DOT helmets for the US, Canada and Mexico are not available with
customized logos.

Il materiale principale della calotta esterna è costituito dall’esclusiva Super Fibra
di Arai, ora con una maggiore densità della fibra. La rigidità della calotta è stata
ulteriormente aumentata dopo svariati esperimenti effettuati con differenti
spessori di fibra, fibre differenti dopo procedure di trattamento e differenti
combinazioni di resine / Calotta “Peripherally Belted SNC” : una fascia protettiva
di rinforzo avvolge l’area superiore della calotta aumentandone ulteriormente la

- Guanciali a rilascio d’emergenza “Emergency Release”: sia i guanciali che il
paranuca possono essere rimossi in pochi secondi grazie all’esclusivo sistema
di rilascio d’emergenza “Emergency Release”. I medici e il personale di
soccorso possono facilmente rimuovere i nuovi guanciali e il paranuca tirando
semplicemente le linguette di rilascio. Ciò permette maggior spazio all’interno
del casco rendendo le operazioni di rimozione del casco più semplici riducendo
così il rischio di ulteriori danni al capo ed alla colonna vertebrale / Emergency
Release Cheek Pads: both cheek pads and the neck roll can be removed in
seconds thanks to the advanced Emergency Release System. Rescue and
medical workers can easily remove the newly designed removable neck roll and
the cheek pads by just pulling the pad release tabs. This offers extra room within
the helmet, making removal of the helmet much easier and minimizing the risk
of additional injury.

visor aperture that offers more view through the bends, giving you every time
that split-second advantage accelerating out of corners. And especially in racing,
every advantage is important. Ridges along the upper edge of the aperture offer
a smooth transition between shield and shell, reducing wind noise and impact in
case of an accident, because there is less chance that the visor is ripped away
from the holders.

larger, and therefore noisier and less aero dynamic vents. The reshaped Delta

the Side Exhaust Duct 3 and the new NE (‘’Neck Exhaust’’) Nozzle 2 increases
the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet. Fresh air is redirected from
the brow vent air across the temples and to the ears, which radiate much body
heat, and is then efficiently exhausted out via the newly designed side cowls.
