Attività didattiche/organizzative
Attività didattica: dall’ AA 2001/02 titolare di insegnamenti nell’ambito del SSD CHIM09
(Tecnologia farmaceutica, Legislazione farmaceutica e Attività regolatorie) nei corsi di laurea
triennale in Informazione Scientifica del Farmaco e Tecniche erboristiche attivati presso la Facoltà
di Farmacia, e nei corsi di laurea triennale di Biotecnologie e magistrale in Biotecnologie Mediche
e Farmaceutiche. Dall’ AA 2002/3 responsabile di moduli di Caratterizzazione di eccipienti e di
Disegni sperimentali nel Master di II livello in Preformulazione Sviluppo farmaceutico e Controllo di
medicinali, già Preformulazione e Sviluppo galenico.
Attività organizzativa: dal 2004 al 2012 Delegato per il programma Erasmus della Facoltà di
Farmacia, dal 2010/11 al 2012/13 Coordinatore del Master di II livello in Preformulazione Sviluppo
farmaceutico e Controllo di medicinali. Dal 2013/14 membro del Presidio periferico di Qualità di
Ateneo, area scientifica
Linee di ricerca e progetti finanziati
L’attività di ricerca si è svolta presso il Dipartimento di Scienze del Farmaco secondo le seguenti
linee di ricerca: a) Studio del meccanismo di rilascio da matrici idrofile. b) Studio di interazioni
farmaco-polimero per la realizzazione di nuovi sistemi a rilascio controllato ad uso orale e
oftalmico. c) Impiego di materiali inorganici per il rilascio di farmaci. d) Sviluppo di nuovi sistemi
terapeutici mucoadesivi per la somministrazione transmucosale e mucosale di farmaci e peptidi e
studio dei meccanismi di adesione. e) Sviluppo formulativo, caratterizzazione e studi di interazione
con substrati biologici di sistemi colloidali: nanoparticelle polimeriche, nanoparticelle solide
lipidiche, micelle polimeriche. f) Sviluppo di piattaforme tecnologiche per la veicolazione di
emoderivati piastrinici per la riparazione di lesioni mucosali, oftalmiche e cutanee.
Ha partecipato ai seguenti progetti finanziati: Impiego di nuovi chitosani per la promozione
dell'assorbimento trans mucosale di farmaci (PRIN 2002). Sistemi innovativi e nuovi materiali per
la somministrazione mucosale e transmucosale di farmaci (PRIN 2005). Studio delle proprietà
mucoadesive ex-vivo e in-vitro di nuovi veicoli o formulati oftalmici a rilascio prolungato (Polglumyt
POR Marche, Cod 002(C)SF09068). Combinazione di materiali bioadesivi e derivati piastrinici per
la terapia di mucositi da chemio/radioterapia e da trapianto di cellule staminali (Fondazione
CARIPLO n 2006-0654, 2007).
